Among the most renowned snooker couples are Chinese snooker champion Yan Bingtao and his girlfriend Ada Zhang. She, like her boyfriend, is a Shandong native who now lives in the United Kingdom.

After defeating Muhammad Sajjad, Bingtao won the Amateur World Snooker Championship’s youngest-ever champion. In the 2021 Masters, he won his first Triple Crown Series match, defeating John Higgins 10-8 to capture the largest championship of his professional career. Zhao Xintong is another player from the same championship.

Yan made his professional debut at the age of 13 in Asian Players Tour Championship events at the start of the 2013-14 season. He won his first professional match against Vinnie Calabrese in the opening round of the 2013 Yixing Open.

He won his first triple crown tournament at the Masters by defeating well-known players Neil Robertson, Stephen Maguire, Stuart Bingham, and John Higgins. On the other side, he became the second Chinese event winner, following Ding Junhui, and the first newbie to win the competition since Mark Selby in 2008.

His greatest achievement prior to winning the Riga Masters was winning the 2015 World Cup with Zhou Yuelong as part of China B, where they defeated Scotland to take the title. Yan was also handed a spot in that year’s Champion of Champions, where he defeated previous world champion Shaun Murphy and went to the quarterfinals before losing to Neil Robertson.

Yan Bingtao And His Girlfriend Ada Zhang Are A Perfect Match

Ada Zhang and Yan Bingtao had been dating for several years prior to the horrific year of Covid-19. Meanwhile, she is not afraid to show her support for him by accompanying him to award ceremonies.

She once surprised him by sneaking into the Marshall Arena venue before the championship final to celebrate his win with him, according to The Sun.

Ada not only attended the reward ceremony, but she also acted as an interpreter for Bingtao after he won the tournament. Similarly, as seen in the photo, she clutched the Paul Hunter Trophy with him while he lifted it.

Yan said that he and his partner are both Shandong locals who work in the UK. They encourage and support one another while travelling abroad, particularly in the United Kingdom.

Yan Bingtao acknowledged his connection with Ada Zhang for the first time in 2021, when he won the Amateur World Snooker Championship. According to Twitter, she surprised her lover by attending the most important game of his career to express her support.

When he won the Amateur World Snooker Championship, she became the focus of all media outlets. According to the Sun, Zhang entered the Marshall Arena following the mid-session break. Yan was overjoyed when Ada appeared on the screen. She worked as an interpreter for BBC reporter Jason Mohammad during the interview and spoke great English.

According to yqqlm, Bingtao is currently living in Sheffield with Ada, where they both arrived in the UK together. They are more closer to each other and are living under one roof after the covid-19 pandemic because they are both Shandong natives.

Yan Lives Together With Ada In Sheffield

The couple, both from Sheffield, have been living under the same roof for the past two years. Yan hasn’t been back to China in over a year because he was one of the few Chinese players who elected to stay in the UK during the initial lockdown. When Bingtao relocated to the UK, he brought Ada with him.

According to WST.TV, the snooker hero is considering buying a new home in Sheffield after winning the current championship’s £250,000 prize money. Aside from the house, he intends to learn to drive and buy a car.

Previously, he spent his profits on fashionable clothing and accessories, such as a pair of purple Christian Louboutin shoes.
