Cindy Duke: Podcasts And Social Platforms
Cindy, a fertility expert, has created a platform to inspire and empower women in the last year.
She began with Instagram inspirational posts before launching her podcast, GriPSSI, Girls Powered Success and Survival Inspirational.
Cindy interviews women from various fields on GriPSSI about overcoming obstacles and living their best lives.
In one episode, she spoke with a physician who travels the world about the difficulties she faced while earning her medical degree and her travel tips, among other things.
In another, she interviews Khadija Ali Samhoul, the founder and CEO of The Tower of Power Movement, a charitable organization that promotes the development of young people and empowers women in Tobago, where Cindy and her brother were born.
Cindy says she got the idea for the podcast from talking to other people.
“I’ve been in various places where I’ve met many women from various professions. I occasionally accompany Winston, and many of the people on his team are women in various professions, and I wonder how many women in our spaces are aware that these are viable options. “In my spaces, I meet women from various backgrounds who are eager to share,” she explained.
Cindy grew up in a traditional environment where people were expected to be doctors or lawyers, but she has met people who have used their passion in every aspect of their careers and she believes it is inspiring to show that.
“There are many things that women are not exposed to. Many of the guys in my med school class went golfing with professors, but there were no spaces available for us. I was thinking about how we get things out there, which is becoming increasingly important, especially for women of color. “How do we show them what is possible?”
Aside from the podcast, Cindy has established GriPSSI as a non-profit organization to assist women in their careers by providing short-term funding for initiatives such as a conference or a short-term course.
The funds are intended to help with expenses such as lodging and flights.
