Brooke Fritz (Lacrosse Assistant Coach): Facts About Willie Fritz Daughter
Brooke Fritz, Willie Fritz’s daughter, is an assistant coach for the Haverford College women’s lacrosse team. Willie Fritz is the father of three children.
Fritz graduated from UGA’s Terry College of Business with a bachelor’s degree. She also played varsity soccer and lacrosse, where she was team captain and first-team All-American.
She spent eight years as the assistant athletic director at Springside Chestnut Hill before accepting the coaching post at Radnor. In addition to coaching lacrosse and soccer, she served as Inter-Ac League Acting President in 2007.
Fritz has been on the executive board of the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association in addition to coaching since 2010. She also served as US Lacrosse’s Coaches Council Co-Chair for four years.

The head coach’s daughter has been an intern at Deloitte as a tax accountant since June 9, 2019. Fritz earned a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia. She decides to further her education at Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Texas.
Brooke is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and now lives in Houston, Texas. Brooke, like her mother before her, is interested in philanthropic giving. She donated to an Athenspets-GA event on March 27, 2020.

Brooke Fritz Is A Women’s Lacrosse Coach
Brooke Fritz has rejoined the Central League as the head girls’ lacrosse coach at Harriton.
George Dick, who led the Rams to the 2019 PIAA championship before retiring, took over a team that had been a strong force in the Central League and around the state for a decade. He was also named Phillylacrosse Co-Coach of the Year by the PIAA in 2013.
After a terrible epidemic season in 2020, the Rams faltered in 2021, finishing 4-13. Rebecca Cartee-Haring was replaced by Brooke Fritz.
During her tenure, Fritz had a 167-52 record, including seven trips to the state tournament, and guided Radnor to the state finals twice more.
She was also Radnor’s assistant coach when the team won the PIAA championship in 2009 and 2010, as well as the District 1 Class AAA championship in 2008.
Fritz has remained active in collegiate lacrosse by coaching for Philadelphia in the USA Lacrosse National Tournament. She has coached in the National Tournament for over 20 years and was the coach of Philly Team 3 this year.

On December 11, 2015, ESPN reported that Fritz would become Tulane University’s 39th head football coach.
2014
Fritz was named head football coach at Georgia Southern University on January 10, 2014. The Eagles finished 9-3 overall and 8-0 in Sun Belt Conference action in their debut FBS season, earning the conference championship outright.
They were also the first team in FBS history to go undefeated in conference play in their inaugural season. Fritz led the Eagles to an 8-4 record in 2015, earning their first bowl bid to the GoDaddy Bowl on December 23, 2015, defeating Bowling Green.
2013
Fritz worked as a graduate assistant for the Bearkat teams that went 16-6 in 1984-85 and won the Gulf Star Conference championship in 1985. In 1991 and 1992, he was the Bearkats’ secondary and special teams coach, and he helped lead Sam Houston to the Southland Conference championship.

2010
On December 18, 2010, Willie Fritz was named the 14th head football coach at Sam Houston State University. Fritz coached the Bearkats to the FCS’s first undefeated regular season and into the FCS playoffs during his second year at Sam Houston State University in 2011. In only three years as Sam Houston State’s head coach, he led the Bearkats to back-to-back national championship games in 2011 and 2012.
1997
Willie Fritz was the head coach at the University of Central Missouri from 1997 to 2009, and he led the Mules to their first postseason appearance in 32 years when they defeated Minnesota-Duluth in the 2001 Mineral Water Bowl.
After winning the Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) championship in 2002, Central Missouri earned their first NCAA Division II playoff berth. With a 97-47 record, Fritz became the university’s “winningest” coach.
1993
Fritz was the head coach at Blinn College from 1993 to 1996. He transformed a programme that had gone 5-24-1 in its previous three seasons into a 39-5-1 record. In 1994 and 1996, Willie Fritz led the team to two national junior college titles. Fritz was elected into the NJCAA Hall of Fame for his contributions at Blinn.

From 1997 through 2009, Fritz was the head football coach at the University of Central Missouri, Sam Houston State University from 2010 to 2013, and Georgia Southern University from 2014 to 2015.
He was the head football coach at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, from 1993 to 1996, where he led his teams to consecutive NJCAA National Football Championships in 1994 and 1996.
