This week, the Boston Celtics made it official that they had signed Joe Mazzulla to a longer contract and made him the head coach. Former head coach Ime Udoka is currently serving a one-year suspension for breaking the team’s code of conduct.

When the news about Udoka came out, there was a lot of talk about how this season would turn out in Boston. The Celtics had just had a great season in which they made it to the NBA Finals, and many people thought that Udoka would help them keep going in the same direction.

After he was suspended, Mazzulla was put in charge of the team until the real head coach could be found. Even though the team’s starting five has been pretty hurt lately, he is leading the Celtics to the top spot in the Eastern Conference. So, Mazzulla is now the head coach of Team Giannis for the upcoming All-Star game.
