When Tiger Woods Shared an Epic Story About John Daly’s Thirst for Diet Coke

Woods tells a great story about John Daly

Tiger Woods won his 13th Major title at the 2007 PGA Championship. But because it was so hot at the Tulsa golf course, it was hard for all the golfers to stay hydrated. Most golfers drink water to keep their heads cool, but Daly chose a different drink to beat the heat.

During the 2022 PGA Championship, which both Woods and Daly played in, Woods was asked about his win 15 years earlier and what he remembered about it.

Tiger Woods said, “I remember playing behind JD [John Daly] on the first day, which was awesome. It was 109 degrees on the first day. When I asked JD how many glasses of water he had out there, he said, “No, I had 13 Diet Cokes.”
