Wisdom Naya was an African football player who was on the rise. He played for the Wundanyi, Taita Taveta County, Sofapaka Football Club.

Wisdom Naya died when she was 19 years old. He was just starting out in his new job, but his faith was different.
The football team of Naya, Sofapaka, said on Twitter: “We are saddened to have lost our former midfielder Wisdom Naya. We really want to comfort Naya’s family and friends.”
The sports community in Trans Nzoia and all over Kenya is sad about the death of the young man.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Wisdom Naya was a great role model and a promising athlete. I’m very sorry for his family and for the County as a whole. May God give peace to the families, friends, and people of Transnistria during this hard time. RIP.”
One more says: “It’s hard to believe that you’re gone. Go well, my younger brother; you, Wisdom, put up a good fight. It was a huge honor to share a dressing room with you, King. RIP Naya.”
Death Cause:Â How Did Wisdom Naya Die?
Wisdom After a long battle with cancer, Naya died. In January 2022, the football player had to have surgery to take off his left leg.
Naya was told she had Sarcoma, which is a rare form of cancer that starts in the bones, joints, and connective tissue and grows there. As more tumors form, the disease gets worse over time.
After getting hurt during the training session, Naya’s condition got worse. On his left knee, there was a painful swelling.
Eldoret’s Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital took the midfielder in. He had to go to the doctor for a number of things, including knee surgery. But the doctor said that his leg would have to be cut off.
Naya had to skip the sixth session of his procedure because the swelling was getting worse every day.

Wisdom Naya was a football genius at the age of 13. He had played sports since he was five years old.
Before she became well-known, Naya took part in a lot of tournaments at her school. He played for St. Anthony’s Boys, and in 2018, Sofapaka signed him.
In 2015, the midfielder also took part in the Copa Coca-Cola African Cup of Nations. He was in the game between Nigeria and the Solidary Boys. The game was 4-3 when Naya made the penalty shot that won the game for his team.
Since he played well at the Copa Coca-Cola African Cup, many of the biggest football clubs in Africa have been trying to sign him.
Wisdom Naya’s family comes from Kenya’s Trans Nzoia County. Edward Onyango is his father, and Dinah Cherop is his mother.
After this son died, Onyango said: “He had gotten much better, and I was hoping he would be able to walk again. We are very saddened by his death. Let him sleep peacefully,”
The family of Naya, who didn’t have much money, went to different doctors to get help. They went to the Kenyatta National Hospital first, and then they were sent to the Spanish Hospital in India by that hospital. The family went to India in December and got care there for several months. They also got Sh500,000 to help pay for medical care. But poor Naya could not make it.
