Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is an exam conducted by VIT for admission to its B tech program. Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) is one of the premier engineering institutes of India. VIT has branches ion several locations, Vellore, Chennai and Amravati. The university holds its accreditation from the UGC. The main Vellore campus is spread over 2500 acres. VIT offers study programs in engineering, applied science and management. It has 20 programs, 34 postgraduate, four integrated MS courses, and four doctoral programs. Admission to VIT is offered based on the VIEEE test rank, the exam is competitive as about two lacks student compete for seats in the university. Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE Entrance Exam

The candidate should be below 22 years of age.

Should compulsorily have aggregate 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

NRI aspirants can also apply for the test.

PIO and OCI card holders are also eligible.

Candidates can apply for the exam by both online and offline methods. For offline method, the form can be purchased from the centers mentioned in VIT Official website. For online method, registration can be done through VIEEE section of VIT website. The exam fee payment can also be paid online.

Once the admit card is available you will be notified, candidates need to take print out of the admit card and carry that along with them on the exam date.

Exam Pattern for VITEEE Entrance Exam

The exam will be of two and half hours, there will be 40 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Another 5 questions will be from the English section. The total stands at 125 questions.
