Victor Soto (Battlebots Cast): Who Is He? Bio, Career, Team Rotator And Social Media Details

BattleBots is a television show that airs on the Discovery Channel and follows individuals and teams as they construct robots to compete against one another in an arena elimination tournament.

Each match features a battle between two robots that lasts for three minutes and has as its objective the destruction or disablement of the opponent’s machine.

Teams from all over the world travel to participate in the competition; one of these teams also works on Mako SmartRoboticsTM, which is Stryker’s answer to the problem of robotic-arm assisted joint replacement.

Victor Soto, a senior staff systems engineer who is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is in charge of leading the team.

Since he was in college, he has been designing and constructing robots, and in 2016, when BattleBots invited Victor to the show, he asked a few members of the Mako team if they were interested in competing. That is correct.

After competing for a number of years, Victor has established himself as a formidable opponent, and so has his team, which is supported financially by Stryker.

We questioned Victor about his impressions of the journey thus far. This is what he had to say.

2016 was the year that Battlebots extended an invitation to the engineer to attend the show and asked the Mako team to accompany him. After a few years of competition, Soto and his team achieved success in their field. As a result of this success, Stryker decided to sponsor them, which enabled them to acquire materials for robots.

In addition, the breakthrough year for the engineer was 2018, the year in which they won many fights and advanced to the round of single elimination.

After that, they continued competing in the tournament while making significant changes to it each year. The team’s BattleBot, Rotator, took part in the discover season 7 World Championship VII, and the team finished the season ranked 14th in the BattleBots season power ranking.

Soto has put a lot of effort into achieving his success. He puts in a considerable amount of time and effort, working on two heavyweight robots on a daily basis from ten in the morning until ten at night, including on the weekends. On the final day, he packs a crate that weighs two thousand pounds.

Victor Soto (Battlebots Cast): Team Rotator

Since the beginning of the second season of BattleBots on ABC, Team Revolution has been an active participant in the competition. Their heavyweight entry ROTATOR is the one that brought them the most attention.

ROTATOR captain Victor Soto competed in the middleweight division of the NPC Charity Open in 2004 and the BattleBots IQ competition in 2011, where he finished in second place.

Both of these events took place in the United States. This was a continuation of Soto’s previous experience in the field of combat robotics with the Nightstalker, the middleweight Revenant, and the 220 pound pneumatic flipper that was built in conjunction with Marc DeVidts for the Vault.

BattleBots: What Is It About?

BattleBots showcases the largest, baddest, most robust, and fastest next-generation robots from all over the world as they compete for supremacy in the rapidly expanding world of Robot Combat Sports.

The world of Robot Combat Sports is exploding right before our very eyes. The premier robot combat competition is about to take on a scale that is significantly greater than in the past.

Discovery has made the announcement that it has ordered an unprecedented order of 80 hours of robot-crushing action from the show BattleBots, which will continue for an additional two seasons.

This year’s elite competition features an abundance of brilliant new teams with game-changing designs that are eagerly attempting to compete with the returning legends of the sport.

Fan favorites such as Witch Doctor, SawBlaze, Hydra, Hypershock, and Minotaur, as well as the reigning World Champion Tantrum, will go up against the most formidable teams from Europe, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South America in a series of fights to the death.

This will cause the tension to rise to an all-time high. End Game and Tantrum have both won the Golden Bolt in the past, and End Game is a former champion.

Will End Game and Tantrum be able to keep their winning streaks alive against the most competitive field in the history of BattleBots, or will they be shattered into pieces? Will Riptide and Glitch be able to continue their historic runs as freshmen, or will they succumb to the feared sophomore slump? Chris Rose, a sportscaster, and Kenny Floria, a former UFC fighter, will both be present to call the action and provide their signature play-by-play and color commentary, respectively.

In addition, Faruq Tauheed will reprise his role as Ring Announcer to get everyone in the arena and watching at home into the spirit of the fight.
