2020
Mete was named to the Canadiens’ lineup following training camp for the 2019-20 season. Mete broke his 127-game, franchise-record goalless skid in a 4-0 win over the Minnesota Wild after going scoreless to begin the season.
In the same game, rookie Nick Suzuki scored his first NHL goal, making the pair the first Canadiens players since 2005 to record their first NHL goals in the same game.
