On January 3, 2020, he was cleared to play for the team. He made his college debut the next day, scoring 18 points and shooting 6-of-9 from three-point range in a 78-64 loss to LSU. He also had six rebounds and four assists, but he also had nine turnovers.
In an 82-61 win over Arkansas on February 11, he set a freshman season high with 20 points and eight assists. An Auburn fan was ejected and barred from future games after yelling a xenophobic taunt at Véscovi during a game at Auburn on February 22.
As a freshman, he started all 19 games and averaged 10.7 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. Véscovi averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game as a sophomore.

Career Life Of Santiago Vescovi
He attended The NBA Global Academy, an elite basketball training centre at Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, Australia, from July to December of 2019.
Prior to that, in the winter of 2018, he was accepted into the NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico City, Mexico.
The NBA Academy initiative exposes elite prospects to NBA-level coaching, facilities, and competition, as well as a global framework for success. Up to twelve elite student-athletes attend The NBA Global Academy in Canberra, each year, developing under the supervision of NBA-trained personnel.
