Roxanne Perez, a self-proclaimed “prodigy,” has made an immediate impact in NXT 2.0.

Perez, who grew up idolising WWE, graduated as the youngest ROW Diamonds Champion from Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling School. Perez burst onto the scene and immediately challenged NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction, capturing the attention of the locker room as well as the NXT Universe.

She truly lives up to her nickname as the first-ever Women’s Breakout Tournament Champion.

Perez won gold with her best friend Cora Jade after winning the Women’s Breakout Tournament, defeating Toxic Attraction to become NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions at NXT Great American Bash.

The following week, Perez used her Breakout Contract to face NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Perez almost won, but Jade shockingly turned on her partner, costing her the match and dumping her title in the trash the following week.

Early Career

Gonzalez began training at the age of 13 and later under Booker T at the age of 16. She made her pro wrestling debut in December 2018 as Rok-C, wrestling for Booker T’s promotion Reality of Wrestling. Her ring name was inspired by The Rock, as she was a fan of his “I changed the letters a little, and then I used the dash… Carla is my name, so the C stands for that.”

Rok-C wrestled for promotions in her home state of Texas for the majority of her rookie years, most notably for ROW, where she won the women’s title, the ROW Diamonds Division Championship.
