Richard Armitage: Mother Margaret Armitage
The 18th of March 1944 saw the arrival of Richard Armitage’s mother, Margaret Armitage. She was born in Wallingford. Richard and Chris, both now adults, called Margaret their mother when they were growing up.
Margaret was a remarkable person because she was the most courageous, elegant, and outstanding person. She held a job in the secretarial field. In January of 2018, a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer was made regarding her.
From the moment she received her diagnosis, she did everything in her power to make others’ lives as simple and stress-free as possible.
Her relatives observed that she did not display much self-pity and made few demands on those who looked after her. The fact that they could count on her as a mother was an incredible blessing for her sons.
Her husband, John, took care of her for the past four months; her eldest son, Chris, held her hands to ease her agony; and her grandchildren visited her to give her hugs and kisses.
Mom son surprised her on her 74th birthday by giving her a mobility scooter. Her birthday was on March 18.
As soon as she crashed through the kitchen wall of his brother’s apartment, she burst out laughing. The celebration of Easter with the family was really special.
On May 9, 2018, Margaret was unable to continue her life and went away. Richard is making an effort to raise money for LOROS as a love gesture in memory of his most beautiful and caring friend. His mother reminded him on a regular basis to treat other people the way he would want to be treated himself.
She had a humble and unassuming way of living her life. However, despite the fact that she was not a frequent churchgoer in her later years, she lived a Christian life and was the pillar around which their small city was built.
On May 9, 2020, Richard sent a tweet in which he recalled Margaret as having stated that she enjoyed reading all of the letters. It brought back fond memories of when his mother and Richard used to participate in it together.

Richard Armitage: Childhood And Family
Richard Crispin Armitage was born on August 22, 1971 in the little village of Huncote, which is located close to the city of Leicester, England.
His father, John Armitage, worked in the field of nuclear engineering, while his mother, Margaret Armitage, worked in the administrative office of a school. He was the second child born to his parents, and his older brother, Christopher, is Richard’s older sibling.
Since he was a child, he has had an interest in both acting and music. Following his debut performance in the play The Hobbit, in which he played the role of an elf, he felt determined that he wanted to find a way to integrate creativity into his everyday life.
He enrolled at Brockington College, where he studied singing as well as playing a variety of musical instruments. The guitar, the flute, and the cello are all instruments that Richard can play.
Pattison College welcomed him as a student when he was only 14 years old, and he used his time there to learn the fundamentals of acting.
After receiving his diploma, the aspiring actor was faced with a significant choice. After moving to Hungary, he became a member of the circus.
He travelled with artists for a total of six weeks, but his primary role was that of an extra hand.
He was in charge of cleaning the cages and providing assistance to the principal circus performers on the arena. Nevertheless, obtaining an Equity Card, which would grant him the privilege of auditioning, was his primary objective.
After traveling back to the UK, he was able to understand it. It was then followed by a string of roles in a variety of musicals, one of which was the well-known musical Cats.
But soon after, Richard Armitage came to the conclusion that a career in musicals was not his dream. In light of the fact that everything seemed overly dramatic and pretentious in musical productions, he desired to be more real while performing on stage.
As a consequence of this, he enrolled at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After receiving his degree, the young actor started his career by joining the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Hamlet, Macbeth, and The Duchess of Malfi were some of the plays in which he participated as an actor. But Richard was never cast in the principal roles in any of the plays.
In spite of the fact that performing on stage was his lifelong dream job, he started getting more and more work on television.
