Andrew Litchfield and Catherine Litchfield gave birth to Phoebe Litchfield. She was raised in Orange, New South Wales, Australia by her parents.

Andrew and Catherine Litchfield, Phoebe Litchfield’s parents, welcomed her on April 18, 2003. She is not the only child in the family; she has a brother named Jock Litchfield.

Litchfield’s upbringing in Orange inspired her to become a better person on and off the field. The athlete was introduced to men’s cricket at a young age and had great feedback from her family.

Andrew has been his daughter’s trainer since she was a child, and he is the best coach Phobe could ever have. Although she didn’t always listen to her father, the father-daughter team maintained an excellent working relationship that aided her career greatly.

Furthermore, she recalls Litchfield’s counsel when away from home in Sydney to play for the New South Wales Breakers and Sydney Thunder in the Women’s National Cricket League and the Women’s Big Bash League.

As she balances her education with her career, the athlete is under pressure to complete her papers on time and train for her games. Nonetheless, she enjoys and lives on the strain since it is tough.

3) Litchfield grew up watching her father play cricket. She had a cricket net in her backyard, so she practised with Andrew in her leisure time from a young age.

Furthermore, the athlete learned her hitting style from her father, who has been a huge influence on her since she was a child. She also stated that she would not have gotten this far without the help of her father.

Phoebe also stated that if she hadn’t been a cricket player, she would have been an actress. Similarly, her earliest ambition was to compete in the Olympics as a runner.

4) Phoebe is also a hockey player. The athlete has used her athletic and sportsman skills on the hockey field in addition to playing cricket.

While attending Kinross Wolaroi School, she was a member of the 2019 SSA All-Australian Girls Hockey Team for 16 Years and Under, and she got the opportunity to tour South Africa with the group in 2020.

5) Litchfield debuted in the Women’s Big Bash League at the age of 16. On October 18, 2019, the cricketer made her WBBL debut for the Sydney Thunder, scoring 26 runs off 22 balls.

Furthermore, in her second game for the Thunder in the WBBL, she became the youngest player to reach a half-century. Similarly, Phoebe was named to Australia’s A team for their January 2022 series against England A.
