Benfica, where he spent nearly six seasons. He made his senior debut in the fourth level with S.C. Farense before moving on to S.C. Mineiro Aljustrelense the following season.
Pedro moved to Qatar in January 2011 to join Al Ahli SC (Doha). He scored his debut goal against Al Kharaitiyat SC on January 7, 2012, however it was a 2-4 loss.
He only played six games in his first full season, and his team was also ousted from the Stars League. In 2016, he joined neighbouring league club Al Sadd SC and instantly voiced his desire to play for Qatar’s national team.
On December 12, that year, he scored his first league goal for the club headed by Jesualdo Ferreira, contributing to an 8-0 home triumph over Umm Salal SC.
Al Sadd defeated Hienghène Sport of New Caledonia 3-1 in the first round of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup on home soil, thanks to Pedro Miguel’s extra-time goal. In 2020-21, he won the league and two national cups while playing in an offensive formation alongside former teammate Xavi.
