Born in Vernon, Normandy, France, he began his football career at a young age, first with ALM Évreux, then with Évreux FC before joining Stade Rennes in 2010. After rising through the youth ranks and starring for the reserve team, the forward made his professional debut for Rennes’ first team against Angers on November 6, 2015.
