- The Blue Jackets announced on May 8 that they had signed Dansk to an entry-level contract for a period of three years.
- After spending his first full season in North America with affiliates in the American Hockey League and the ECHL, respectively, playing for the Springfield Falcons and the Kalamazoo Wings, Dansk returned to the Swedish Hockey League for the second season of his contract, signing a one-year loan agreement with Rogle BK on May 23, 2015. This was the beginning of Dansk’s time with the Rogle BK.
- On the day when his entry-level contract with the Blue Jackets came to an end on June 26, 2017, he was not extended an offer to continue playing for them as a restricted free agent.
- On July 3, he became a member of the NHL expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights, by signing a one-year contract with a two-way player option.
- He was reassigned to begin the 2017–18 season with the Chicago Wolves’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.
- On October 20, 2017, he had only played one game with the Wolves before being recalled by the Golden Knights, who were suffering from injury problems.
- The following day, Dansk made his debut in the National Hockey League by playing in the final 14 minutes of the game and earning his first victory in the NHL with a 3–2 overtime victory over the St. Louis Blues.
