Nikola Jokic: Age, Height, Weight, Relationship, Affairs, Family, Father, Bio And More
Nikola Jokic may be having the best season of his career in 2022-2023, despite having won the Most Valuable Player award in each of the previous two seasons in a row.
The top player for the Denver Nuggets was born in Sombor, Serbia, before going on to become one of the most gifted players in the National Basketball Association. Branislav Jokic, Jokic’s father, was an agricultural engineer.
Not much is known about his mother, although Jokic’s father was in the field.
The five-time All-Star has two older brothers named Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic, both of whom are frequently seen courtside at Nuggets games cheering for their younger sibling who is the team’s standout player.
Branislav and his wife realised the potential that their son could have in the sport of basketball once he began to grow into his 6’11 frame.
Despite the fact that Nikola was not initially interested in basketball and spent the majority of his childhood riding horses, Branislav is a basketball coach.

Nikola Jokic: Parent (Branislav Jokić)
The majority of Nikola Jokic’s formative years were spent with his father, Branislav Jokic, and as a result, the two had an exceptionally close bond.1
His grandfather was an agricultural engineer by trade, and he always tried his very best for his family throughout his life. Along the same lines, he must have developed an interest in other things as well, such as basketball. It would appear that his father was his first coach in helping him develop his enthusiasm in playing this game.
In a similar vein, his father’s father must have been given the duty for his family at a young age, which means that his father likely did not have the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities. As a consequence of this, he made up his mind to instill a love of basketball in his progeny at a tender age and to encourage them to pursue their basketball goals.
In addition, we may keep up with him by following Nikola Jokic on Facebook; yet, there is limited information available regarding his personal life, particularly concerning the role that his father plays in it.
We do not currently have any information regarding Nikola Jokic’s mother, but we do know that he has two siblings.
In addition to Nikola, his parents were blessed with the arrival of his brothers Strahinja and Nemanja Joki, who provided them with more opportunities to experience the joy of parenthood. Although though both of these brothers are considerably older than Nikola, the bond that they share with one another is very strong.
In light of this, we can assume that the two of them are developing a closer relationship over time, despite the fact that there is at least a decade of age difference between them.

Nikola Jokic was sound asleep at his house in Serbia on the evening when the Denver Nuggets selected him with the first overall pick in the draught.
His older brother Nemanja broke the news to him over the phone when he was celebrating in New York by opening a bottle of champagne.
Nikola responded with a groggy tone. Nemanja yelled into the receiver, “It’s Nemanja!” “You were selected to play in the NBA! How do you get to sleep at this hour?”
Nikola, who is now 21 years old, has a short buzz cut and is about 7 feet tall. It is a bitterly cold afternoon in Denver in December, and the most interesting young centre in the NBA is content to take it easy on this particular Sunday.
Nikola is decked out in a black pair of basketball shorts and a white Space Jam t-shirt. He met his partner, Natalija Macesic, in his birthplace of Sombor, where he currently resides with his two elder brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, as well as his girlfriend.
Coors Field can be seen from the balcony of their flat, which is situated on a peaceful side street in the heart of downtown Denver.
The brothers are dressed in sandals made by Nike in identical black (and guests are loaned a pair, too). One of the two house mandates is the wearing of synchronised footwear.
The second one relates to the fact that there is a small Nerf hoop built on top of the entrance door, however dunking is not allowed at all under any circumstances. Tackling is allowed in this context (and accounts for most game action).
Surround-sound speakers located throughout the flat normally play Serbian music; however, Jokic has been attempting to get them to play hip-hop more recently. On the coffee table sits a notebook that has been opened to reveal columns of victories in the game of Mau Mau (think European Uno).
That makes no difference; the brothers cast doubt on the results by pointing to gaps in the criteria. The three enormous balconies of the apartment are covered with snow as one goes outside.
Nemanja enjoys barbecuing cevapi (Serbian sausage) in the backyard whenever the weather permits it. “Natalija does most of the cooking, but I’m the one who mans the grill,” he explains.
During more relaxed conversations, Jokic can be seen lounging around on his couch. He rests his weight on the right elbow that is propped up by a couple cushions as he leans laterally across the seats.
His head is drooping heavily on his shoulder, giving him a youthful appearance that is little painful yet fun. He claims that all of his primary school teachers liked him since he was always getting into mischief in class. “I was the chubbiest and the tallest among the group of boys and females. I was also the tallest.
I really enjoyed several of my classes, especially math and history, but that’s about it. I never really enjoyed being active in any way. When I was a senior in high school, I couldn’t even do a single pushup.”

Nikola Jokic’s Wife: Natalija Macesic
According to several accounts, Jokic and Macesic began dating while they were still in high school in 2013. It is to be expected that she is quite private, especially considering that she is dating an NBA superstar.
In fact, she is very secretive. Nonetheless, she did travel with Jokic to London in 2017 for the NBA Global Games, which the Denver Nuggets participated in against the Indiana Pacers.
After Jokic and the Nuggets were eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers, he spent the offseason with Macesic, whom he ultimately wed in October of 2020. At a small, intimate ceremony, the couple exchanged their vows and became husband and wife in Sombor, Serbia.
Mrs. Jokic and her husband currently make their home in Denver, where she received her education in psychology at Metropolitan State University, which is located relatively close to Ball Arena, the venue in which the Nuggets play their home games.
This past September, the couple welcomed their first child into the world, a daughter whom they called Ognjena.
Jokic gives off the impression of being an extremely chill and friendly guy. His postgame statements are frequently the funniest, despite the fact that he does not appear to be the kind to brag about his accomplishments.
He is perhaps one of the most humorous players in the NBA today, and sometimes makes jokes about eating junk food, especially after he has lost a lot of weight. After all, “The Joker” is his well-known moniker.
