After the contract was revealed, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney met with the media and stated that Miller would have to “earn the right” to play in the league.
“I’m not going to sugarcoat the fact that this has been a personal and professional battle,” Sweeney added. “Mitchell has received a punishment, which he will bear for the rest of his life. We’re going to hold him accountable.”
