When Will WWE Star Matt Riddle Returning? Injury Details Explored
WWE Superstar Riddle was born Matthew Fredrick Riddle on January 14, 1986. He is a former mixed martial artist and professional wrestler from the United States. Riddle is currently a member of WWE’s Red brand Raw, where he works with The Viper, Randy Orton.
Matt Riddle has been absent from WWE programming for some time now after allegedly violating the wellness policy twice last year. However, it appears that the superstar will be back soon.
The Original Bro was last seen competing in a tag team match with Kevin Owens. The unlikely duo were unable to reclaim the WWE Tag Team Championship from The Usos and were subjected to a post-match attack from Solo Sikoa.
After receiving a brutal Samoan Spike from Solo, Riddle was stretchered out of the arena, and it was later announced that he would be out of action for six weeks.
Reports then circulated that this was Matt’s way of being written off the television after he failed a drug test, causing his SummerSlam match against Seth Rollins to be pushed back. It was then revealed that Riddle had already entered rehab or that he would be fired from the company.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Matt Riddle may return in February because he is being advertised for a Monday Night RAW episode later that month. However, there is no guarantee because the lineup for each episode may change unexpectedly.
