Coach Martin St. Louis and his wife, Heather Caragol, spend their off-season in Connecticut. The couple has three hockey-obsessed sons.

He is a former NHL pro ice hockey player who went undrafted but played more than 1000 games after signing with the Calgary Flames in 1998.

Martin was a right winger who played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Lausanne HC, and the New York Rangers. On July 2, 2015, he declared his retirement from sports.

St. Louis has also represented his country internationally, winning gold in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. In addition, he brought silver to the 2008 and 2009 global championships in Canada and Switzerland.

Heather Caragol, the wife of Montreal Canadien head coach Martin St. Louis, married in 2000. He joined the Tampa Bay Lightning the same year.

They both attended the University of Vermont, where they initially met and later fell in love. According to The Athletic, the couple has been together since their junior year.

Caragol has always tried to make him feel special, and she gave him a Rolex watch and handed it to him during dinner during his 100th career NHL game. Although it was a minor achievement for many pro hockey players, it was extremely meaningful to them.

While the current coach was still a professional player, the two used to attend numerous events and have amazing times and dinners with many sportsmen in the sports.

In addition, during the offseason, the St. Louis family vacations in Heather’s hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Nonetheless, St. Louis is pleased with how his wife has treated him and his children. To show his appreciation, the former right-wing hockey player posted a family photo and acknowledged her heavily. Martin congratulated her on finishing the season, which included another year with him and their children. He jokingly stated that she scored almost 500 dinners and helped with nearly 200 school pickups and drops. Martin also did not skip the laundry load and ended the caption by naming her MVP of the year.

In addition, during his news conference as the new head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis praised his wife for allowing him to follow his ambition and for her love and support. He didn’t leave out a few important family members.

Ryan is Martin and Heather’s first child, born on June 13, 2003 in Burlington, Vermont. The University of North Eastern records him as at five feet ten inches tall.

He is currently a freshman, ready to make his father happy and have a bright future in athletics. According to NorthEastern Huskies, he plays forward and has successfully blocked 11 shots in the 2021-22 season.

Ryan had three straight replies when asked why he chose the university: strong hockey programme, great campus, and Boston. Prior to joining NorthEastern, he represented the United States on an international level by playing for the US Nation U18 and U17 teams.

He also played for his high school and gave an outstanding game, and his skills have only improved since then, making him eligible for the NHL draught.

Lucas Is The Second Child Of His Parents

Lucas was born on March 30, 2005, in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, as the second child of a St. Louis couple. He is 17 years old as of 2022 and is said to be the same height as his older brother.

Lucas, unlike Ryan, is solely documented on Elite Prospect and appears to be a defender. If the mid-teen athlete had been regularly engaging on social media, his followers would have learned more about him.
