- Rs 1700 crore for 1500 mult l-skill development centres
- 62 new Navodaya Vldyalayas to provide quality education.
Skills and Job Creation
- Scheme to get Rs 500 crore for promoting entrepreneurship among SC/ST.
- Objective to skill 1 crore youth in the next 3 years under the PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
- National Skill Development Mission has imparted training to 76 lakh youth. 1500 Multi-skill training institutes to be set-up.
- 100 model career centers.
- Model shops and establishments-bill to be circulated to States.
- Entrepreneurship training to be provided across 300 schools,
- 2200 colleges, 500 government ITIs and 50 vocational training centers through massive online courses.
- The government to pay off 8.33% on behalf of all new employees enrolling to EPFO in first 3 years.

Investments and Infrastructure
- Total outlay for infrastructure in Budget 2016 now stands at Rs 221246 crore.
- Rs 27000 crore to be spent on roadways.
- 65 eligible habitats to be connected via 2.23 lakh km of road. Current construction pace is 100 km/day.
- 70 languishing projects covering 8300 km revived.
- Record 10000 km of National Highways to be approved in 2016-17.
