Lucy Staniforth: Relationship With Partner Laura Wilson

In the year 2020, Lucy made public her intention to marry Laura Wilson.

On December 25, 2020, Lucy published a photo on her website in which she can be seen pointing to the ring finger of her girlfriend Laura.

The two had recently decided to formalize their love by becoming engaged. There was a paper cutout in the shape of the word “Engaged” and a ring dangling from a string in the background of the low-key ceremony.

One of the earliest photographs of the newlyweds was taken in 2016, during the Great North Run, which Laura and one of Lucy’s friends had participated in the previous year.

The football player was present at the marathon, but she didn’t run it herself; rather, she was there mostly to encourage her two friends who were doing it.

The duo was then observed again two months later, in November 2016, having a good time at Lucy’s 26th birthday celebration, and ever since that time, Lucy has been a regular presence on Lucy’s Instagram handle.

In 2017, the two of them went on vacation to Sairee Beach, which is located on Koh Tao, which is a paradise in Thailand. Lucy showed them the polarized photograph that she had taken of the two of them sitting on a swing.

The football player continued to post images of their travels in Thailand on his social media accounts while they were on Koh Samui, another island in Thailand.

A vacation to Thailand in June 2017 was followed by a journey to Edinburgh, Scotland, in December of that same year. Later, the pair spent their first Christmas together, and Lucy captioned the photo on Instagram with the phrase “First Christmas.”

It is true that taking weekend getaways and weeklong adventures together has helped strengthen the couple’s connection. In 2018, photographs were taken of the two of them having a good time at the nightclub Mambo Ibiza.

It wasn’t the best situation for them to be locked up during the epidemic, but it may have given Lucy ample time to ponder about her future with her future wife-to-be Laura, as they chose to take a significant step in their lives.
