In the interim, they endured a heartbreaking tragedy when their first child, a daughter named Mckiah Renee, died as a stillbirth after six months of pregnancy in 2005.
The cause of the misfortune was Sjogren’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that cuts off blood flow to the foetus, according to the Daily News at the time.
The tragedy broke the Tomlinsons, but they grew stronger and more cautious for the next big moment. In 2010, LaTorsha’s subsequent pregnancy and Tomlinson’s eagerness for their new role as parents made headlines.

Daylen’s birth marked the beginning of a difficult period for his parents as they dealt with Renee’s untimely death. Furthermore, his father had taken critical care of the pregnant Ms. Oakley in order to avoid the previous tragic event.
Torsha, the child’s mother, initially wanted him to be a quantum physicist, but his footballer father wanted him to find a passion in life.
Tomlinson Jr., 12, has grown up as a family man and has more time to decide on a career. He enjoys playing with his sister and spending time with his birth parents.
