Kyle Jacobs (Kellie Pickler Husband): Why Did He Commite Suicide at the Age of 49? New Album, Career, bio, Wiki, Parents

Kellie Pickler is one of the more prominent names among the 20 seasons’ worth of American Idol finalists

Pickler married Kyle Jacobs, a fellow songwriter, five years after she participated in Season 5 (the year Taylor Hicks won), and the two of them also occasionally worked professionally together.

Unfortunately, it has been reported that Jacobs passed away at the age of 49.

The identity of the man who shot and killed himself in Kellie Pickler’s Nashville home wasn’t initially made public, according to a TMZ report from earlier today.

A few hours later, the Nashville Police Department revealed that Kyle Jacobs had passed away; the cause of death is being looked at as a suicide. The home’s upstairs bedroom/office is where Jacobs is thought to have gone and shot himself.

The day had started out with Kellie Pickler sleeping, but she awoke just before the incident and started looking for her husband, according to the authorities. Pickler and her assistant tried to open the door where Jacobs died but were unsuccessful, so they dialled 911.

He is probably best recognised for his collaboration on the #1 smash song “More Than a Memory” by Garth Brooks from 2007, which peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart before falling to #53 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

In addition, Jacobs co-wrote the 2004 song “8th World Wonder,” which was performed by Kimberley Locke and finished third in the second season of American Idol. Kelly Clarkson, another American Idol winner, was another artist with whom Jacobs collaborated, in addition to Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Scot McCreery, and Jo Dee Messina, to mention a few.

After dating for two and a half years, Kyle Jacobs and Kellie Pickler were engaged on June 15, 2010, and on January 1, 2011, they eloped and got married in a “small, personal wedding on a private island in the Caribbean,” as her agent described it at the time.

The married couple collaborated to write several songs for Pickler’s 2013 album The Woman I Am, including the album’s title tune. Jacobs was also audible playing the acoustic guitar.

Outside of the music industry, Kyle Jacobs and Kellie Pickler starred in the three-season run of the CMT (sometimes romantic) reality series I Love Kellie Pickler.

They also made an appearance on Celebrity Family Feud, where Pickler and her team ultimately won $25,000 for the USO despite a very embarrassing performance on the game programme.

Kyle Jacobs (Kellie Pickler Husband): Death Reason

Kyle Jacobs, a country music songwriter and the 36-year-old husband of former “American Idol” participant Kellie Pickler, has died from what appears to be suicide. He was 49.

Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Nashville Police, confirmed to The Post that when officers arrived at the couple’s residence in response to a 911 call on Friday afternoon, they discovered Jacobs dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom/office.

According to officials, his death is being looked into as a suicide.

Aaron said, “Pickler said she woke up and couldn’t find her husband right away.” The door to the room where Jacobs was discovered was locked, so she and her personal assistant had to phone 911.

The Pickler team has been approached by The Post for comment.

Her difficult upbringing was followed by achievement. She said in a 2006 interview with Us Weekly that her mother gave her a kitchen knife and told her to kill herself.

I recall saying to my mother, “I wish God would take me away; I’d much rather be dead than live here with you,” as we were in the kitchen. Here, do it then, she added while pulling out a knife and setting it on the counter. In fourth grade, I was. Although I would never have taken that action, it has left me with many emotional scars.

At a Nashville pub in 2007, Jacobs and Pickler connected through mutual songwriter pals.

She explained on “The Real” in 2015, “So we ended up sitting with him and his cronies, and we got lost in talk and everybody else vanished.”
