KTET Previous Year Question and Sample Model Paper
The responsibility of the State to ensure the quality of recruitment of teachers is mentioned in the RTE Act 2009. According to this, the candidates recruited must have appropriate skills and abilities to handle all issues and challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling.
The KTET is used to test such abilities of the teachers candidates for lower primary level, upper primary level and high school level in Kerala.All the information regarding the notification of dates of the exam, the registration and the downloading of hall ticket can be found on the official website: https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/index.php.
KTET Model Question Papers
The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the office of the Commissioner for Government Examinations and is organised by Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala. It is conducted as per the guidelines given by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)/ Department of General Education/ Government of Kerala and the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala.Â
Kerala – TET Exam Pattern
 The papers are divided into different categories. The papers will have Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs). Out of four given options, only one will be correct.
The paper will have 150 total questions and it will be of 1 ½ hours. There is no negative marking.

The qualifying marks for the K-TET is 60% or more. The certificates validating the educational qualifications must be submitted after the result for verification to get the certificate. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, OEC, PH and Blind segments must submit their documents for marks relaxation.

K-TET Selection Process
How to apply?
The K-TET is held at least once a year and all the information including the notification of the exam, the registration, etc can be found online on the official website.
The application fees for K-TET is –
General Category – Rs. 500
SC/ST – Rs. 250
Differently Abled – Rs. 250
The fees can be payed using Debit Card/Credit Card, Net banking or by submitting a Challan at select branches of State Bank of Travancore.
