Letang plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for three seasons until the Pittsburgh Penguins selected him 62nd overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft

In 2009, Letang’s second NHL full season, he and Pittsburgh captured the Stanley Cup. He won the Stanley Cup twice in 2016 after the Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks.

The following two years, Letang competed in the World Junior Championships, earning gold for Canada during a five-year winning streak in 2006 and 2007.

He assisted his country win the first gold medal at the games in Vancouver, which Canada hosted. He went back to Sweden the next year and served as team captain, scoring six points in six games.

Kris Letang, whose full name is Kristopher Joseph Pierre Irwin Letang, was born in Montreal, Canada, on April 24, 1987. He is 35 years old right now.1

Letang was conceived by Christiane Letang and Claude Fouquet. When Claude was a salesperson, he specialised in selling 18-wheeler semi-trucks. While Kris was growing up, Christiane worked in a variety of enterprises until eventually founding a company that distributes the pet items she had previously sold.
