Debra Jeter, a 33-year-old woman from central Texas, could spend the rest of her life in prison because she killed one of her children with a knife in 2010 and hurt the other.
On Tuesday, Debra Janelle Jeter, who lives in Hillsboro, admitted to killing someone to death and trying to kill someone to death. According to the police, she and her husband were getting a divorce, and it was her first time with the two girls under a custody agreement.

Kiersten yelled at her brother to run while pushing her mother away. Because of this, Debra’s attention was taken away from Kiersten and put on Kelsey.
Kiersten was stabbed in the back when she tried to protect her sister. Unfortunately, nothing worked, so Debra cut the throat of her youngest daughter to kill her. Her younger sister didn’t make it, but Kiersten did, even though she was hurt a lot.
