Kyrou began the 2019-20 season on the injured list and was later assigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). He was recalled to the St. Louis Blues on December 9, 2019, and scored his first goal of the season in a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche on December 16, 2019.
The Blues re-signed Kyrou to a two-year, $5.6 million contract on August 3, 2021.
