Jalen Kitna (Jon Kitna’s Son) Is A Quarterback At Florida Gators
Jalen Kitna, a quarterback for the Florida Gators in NCAA football, is Jon Kitna’s son. Jon Kitna and his wife Jennifer have four children.
Jon, a former NFL quarterback, has four children, all of whom are football fans. Two have already made a name for themselves in collegiate football, while the others are on their way to becoming professional players.
His son Jalen signed with the Florida Gators in May 2020, however he did not begin college until 2021. As a redshirt freshman, he made his NCAA football debut against Eastern Washington in October 2022.
In his first game against the Washington boys, the young athlete made an amazing start to his collegiate career, completing eight passes for 152 yards and one touchdown.
Jalen came in to replace Anthony Richardson on November 26 against opponent 16 Florida State when his helmet slipped. However, the Gators were defeated 38-45 by No. 16 Florida, who had previously defeated the Gators three times.

Jon Kitna Son Jalen Kitna Was Born In A Football Family
Jalen Kitna, the son of football legend Jon Kitna, was born on March 22, 2003 in Washington.
Jalen is a 19-year-old young quarterback who aspires to be an NFL star like his father.
Former NFL player Jon is a father and a huge inspiration to his son Jalen Kitna. Jon, 50, was a member of the Cincinnati Bengals when Jalen’s mother, Jennifer, gave birth to him in 2003.
Jon Kitna, a former Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys star, has effectively transferred the torch of his legacy to his children, with all of his kids pursuing careers in football. Jalen’s two brothers, Jamison and Jordan, are also football players.
Jalen’s father was amazing that year, winning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year while being the first player in NFL history to throw every team pass in a single season.
He also grew up in Tacoma, Washington, with his brothers. He has five siblings in all. Jalen’s father, Jon, and mother, Jeniffer, have four children, two of whom they adopted; as a result, he has three biological siblings and two half-siblings.
Jon has been encouraging him and his other children to play football since they were children. As an NFL player at the peak of his game, he knew how to coach and prepare someone like him. Now, all of his children play quarterback, just as he did.

Jalen Kitna Has Six Siblings
Jalen Kitna was reared by his parents in a large family with six siblings, five brothers, and a sister.
His parents had four children and adopted two more. Casey and Chris are Jalen’s adoptive brothers. Jalen’s adopted brothers are older and have married. They even have their own children.
Jalen was only 17 years old the first time he became an uncle. In addition, his three biological siblings are all football players.
His brothers, Jamison Kitna and Jordan Kitna, both play collegiate football, while his sister, Jada Kitna, does not. She does, however, work as a football team staff member at Arizona State University.
Jordan, his elder brother, was a quarterback at Lincoln High School in 2014. Jamison, his younger brother, is also just starting high school. He attends the same high school as Jaren, Burleson High School in Burleson, Texas.
Although both of his brothers play football, Jalen has advanced to a higher level than his siblings, playing for the Florida Gators in NCAA football. To be honest, if one of three brothers were to carry on their father’s legacy in the NFL, Jaren would probably be the one at the moment.
Height and weight of Jalen Kitna
Jalen Kitna has a height of 6 feet and 4 inches (193 cm) and a body weight of 208 pounds.
He towers over his father, Jon. The former Seattle Seahawks quarterback stands 6 feet 2 inches tall, implying that his kid Jaren is two inches taller. Although some may argue that two inches is nothing, in a game like this, even a modest increment helps.
Jaren, on the other hand, is much slimmer than his father, who weighs 220 pounds. To put things in perspective, even his father is not on the level of an NFL player on average.
The average weight of NFL players is 245 pounds, according to American Sports Planet. They have a powerful frame and massive weight, which allows them to immediately halt players and eventually prevent the opponent from scoring.

Jon Kitna Married Life
Jennifer and ex-NFL star Jon Kitna have been married for almost 25 years and have been together for nearly 27 years. Kitna met her now-husband Jon in 1992 while studying at Central Washington University.
At the time, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback was quite popular in college and was involved in activities such as heavy drinking, partying, and womanising. In actuality, his fiancée at the time, Jennifer, discovered him in bed with a lady. Following that occurrence, the college sweethearts separated up.
Jon realised after a while that he didn’t want this kind of life for himself and began to change his behaviour. He began visiting churches and gradually stopped engaging in bad conduct. Jennifer noticed his progress as well, and the couple married on August 13, 1994.
Jennifer and Jon had four biological children and two adopted children. Jordan Kitna, the couple’s eldest child, was born on October 30, 1997, and currently attends Colorado State University-Pueblo as a quarterback. He did not, however, coach a game for the Fleet since he joined the Cowboys coaching staff in January to become their quarterbacks coach.

2012
On January 12, 2012, he announced his retirement from the NFL due to an injury. Following Romo’s back injury, Kitna was called out of retirement on December 24, 2013 to serve as the Cowboys’ backup quarterback to Kyle Orton.
He contributed his final game compensation ($55,294 before taxes) from his 2013 signing with Dallas to the Lincoln High School Booster Club.
2010
Kitna sat out until October 25, 2010, when Romo was placed on the injured reserve list with a broken clavicle. Kitna was injured in a game against the Arizona Cardinals on December 25, 2010. In the nine games he started in relief of Romo, Kitna threw for 2,365 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, compiling a 4-5 record and a career-high 88.9 passer rating.
In the season finale against the Eagles, he was replaced by third-stringer McGee. He was limited to only three appearances the following season due to a back ailment and was placed on the injured reserve list on December 14.

On November 5, with 1:28 remaining in the game and trailing 15-14, Kitna avoided a possible 17-yard sack by San Diego Chargers defensive end Neil Smith and completed an 18-yard pass to Darrell Jackson.
Rian Lindell’s game-winning field goal was set up by this pass. His last win with the Seahawks came in December of that year on a rain-soaked Husky Stadium grass, when he beat the AFC Championship Game-bound Oakland Raiders on a touchdown pass to rookie Darrell Jackson in the final minute of play.
1997
Kitna was awarded MVP of NFL Europe’s final game in 1997, as he led the Barcelona Dragons to the World Bowl Championship (World Bowl V), defeating the Rhein Fire 38-24.
In 1997 and much of 1998, he was a backup to Warren Moon before starting the last five games. Then, in 1999, he started 15 games for the Seahawks, helping them to a 9-7 record (Kitna going 8-7 in games started) and the AFC West title, however Seattle fell to the Miami Dolphins in the wild card game.

Kitna obtained his math education degree at Central Washington and began seeking for high-school coaching jobs after concluding his football career after the NAIA championship.
Dennis Erickson, head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, came to school to give a tryout to his nephew, a receiver on the Central Washington squad. Kitna’s powerful passes impressed the Seahawks, who signed him as an undrafted free agent on April 25 to attend the 1996 training camp.
