She also mentioned that being joyful and present in the situation helped.
Jensen Scalzo: Gymnastics Career Details

Nik Scalzo: Who Is He? His Biography
Nik, his mother Amber, his father Jerry, and his sister Jensen are all from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He is currently enrolled at Cardinal Gibbons High School, which will appear in the QB1 documentary. Nik is considered one of Florida’s top ten quarterbacks.
But Nik is not just gifted on the field; he is also intelligent. Nik has a 4.9 GPA and will undoubtedly succeed in college.
Nik Scalzo: Physical Appearance
Height is significant in sports like American football because the primary goal of the defense is to block the other team. The greater your height and size, the better.
Nik has constantly defied those who claim he is too short to be an excellent collegiate quarterback.
At 6ft, he is significantly below the average height of a quarterback, which is a little more than 6 feet 3 inches, according to USA Today.
Nik Scalzo makes up for his lack of height with determination. And, given that one of his football inspirations, Baker Mayfield, was also a diminutive quarterback, Nik has plenty of motivation to take him all the way.
Nik Scalzo: Injury And Recovery Updates!
Fortunately for the quarterback, the injury would not prevent him from playing for the Wildcats. Scalzo came back on the field after around nine months of recovery, this time wanting to prove he could still have the same abilities he had before the injury.
Given his modest stature (he stands only 6-feet tall and weighs 178 pounds), the freshman had some questions he hoped to answer with his ability to make plays with both his arms and legs.
Unfortunately, Scalzo would face another setback when he tore the same ACL during his first fall camp at UK. It was a setback for the quarterback, who was eager to demonstrate not only his skill, but also his durability.
Despite missing the duration of his first season with the Wildcats, Scalzo would get to watch the club have a good season from the sidelines. The Wildcats finished the season 8-5, with a victory in the Belk Bowl. The triumph fueled Scalzo’s desire to return to full strength and contribute to the team’s chances of winning another championship.
Life would again throw a curveball to the quarterback. While he was gradually working his way back, returning to the field with the squad throughout winter training and some spring practices, the outer world was thrown into disarray with the outbreak of COVID-19.
The Wildcats team workouts would be postponed as the university scrambled to discover measures to combat the looming epidemic, meaning Scalzo would miss out on critical on-field experience and connections with his teammates.
Faced with another arduous offseason, this time due to factors beyond his control rather than injury, Scalzo pushed headfirst into training. Scalzo would practice his throws for hours, practicing quarterback exercises and delivering passes to socially isolated receivers.

The work not only kept his arm fresh for when he returned to the field formally, but it also allowed him to test his knee against cutting and strenuous movements.
Scalzo was present when the Wildcats returned to the field in the fall. Scalzo finally got the chance he had longed for as a practicing quarterback: full-contact action. Though there was an adjustment time for Scalzo, he gradually felt like his old self while playing quarterback. With complete confidence in his leg, he began to resemble the dual-threat recruit from Cardinal Gibbons once more.
Though Scalzo did not play throughout the season, the fact that he was able to finish the year uninjured was a success for the redshirt freshman and a big step forward.
Scalzo would register his name into the transfer portal during the winter, but after assessing his choices, he would return to the team that took a chance on him as an undersized high schooler.
Scalzo will want to be the quarterback everyone remembers from his time on QB1 now that his knee is fully recovered and he has regained his confidence. Scalzo has even embraced his Netflix roots with t-shirt designs based on his time at Cardinal Gibbons, in light of the current NIL news for NCAA players.
