Harrison Burton’s Racing Career

  • Harrison’s interest in racing began at the age of two, when he received a go-kart. It grew into a quarter midget by the age of four.3
  • He began racing at the age of 12. He won his first late model race in early 2014 and his first super late model event in 2015.
  • Burton made his ARCA Racing Series debut with MDM for Ranier Racing. He began sixth but finished third. Burton returned in 2017 with MDM Motorsports, chasing down Dalton Sargeant on the final lap of the race at Toledo Raceway.

  • Burton was the series’ youngest driver to start a race. He won one pole, five top fives, and finished ninth in the championship point standings despite failing to finish two races.
  • Harrison returned to MDM Motorsports after the closure of HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks. Early in the season, he made a splash by running a paint scheme with the number one on the rear quarter panels.
