Isabel Oakeshott: Boyfriend Richard Tice

  • In light of the fact that the Journalist did not divulge a great deal about Isabel’s public life while writing this piece, it would appear that Isabel is rather guarded with regard to the details of her private life, such as her marriage.
  • Yet, we are aware that Isabel tied the knot with Nigel Rosser, who is now her husband, and that the couple is the proud parents of three lovely children. At the time that this story was being written, unfortunately, their names had not yet been made public.
  • In addition, in 2018, it was revealed that she was romantically involved with Richard Tice, a businessman who would later become the leader of Reform UK. Having said that, the nature of their relationship in the present needs to be established unequivocally.
  • Richard Tice, a British businessman and MP on the conservative end of the political spectrum, has held the position of Leader of Reform UK since March 6, 2021. He was a founding member of the Leave movement and served as its co-chairman. When you leave the EU, you really go.
  • Tice was CLS Holdings’ chief executive officer from 2010 until 2014, during which time he oversaw the company’s real estate operations. After that, he became the managing partner of Quidnet Capital LLP, a company that is responsible for the management of real estate assets.
  • Tice was instrumental in the establishment of the Brexit Party, which would later become known as Reform UK. Tice was elected to represent the East of England seat in the European Parliament in 2019 and was subsequently given the title of Member of the European Parliament (MEP).
  • He remained in this role until the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union in January of 2020. Nonetheless, Nigel Farage continued to serve as chairman of the party until March 2021, when he was elected to the position of Leader.

Richard Tice: Who Is He?

She is a journalist who has long made it obvious that she disapproves of his policies on lockdowns. She has been accused of having a terrible track record when it comes to source protection, and she is in a relationship with the leader of the Reform party, which is opposed to lockdowns.

“The main lesson I’ve learned from this is not to hire someone who absolutely hates your signature policy as your ghostwriter,” said Robert Colvile, director of the right-leaning Centre for Policy Studies thinktank and co-author of the 2019 Tory manifesto. Colvile is also one of the authors of the 2019 Conservative manifesto.

“The man needs his brain tested to have gone near Oakeshott with a burning trebuchet, let alone a bargepole,” remarked one political journalist. “Let alone a bargepole,” the journalist added.

Extraordinarily, Oakeshott gave the entire archive of Hancock’s messages to the Daily Telegraph, despite the fact that Rupert Murdoch’s News UK was paying him a rumoured six-figure salary to be a pundit on its struggling TalkTV channel. Oakeshott did this in spite of the fact that the Daily Telegraph was paying him.

Isabel Oakeshott: Career

  • The events that followed have plagued Oakeshott’s journalism career ever since they took place. The Crown Prosecution Service, which was headed at the time by the person who would go on to become the next leader of the Labour Party, Sir Keir Starmer, made a request for the correspondence between Oakeshott and Pryce.3
  • A judge ruled that Starmer was correct in his assertion, and as a result, the Sunday Times and Oakeshott complied with the judge’s decision rather than attempting to conceal their source.
  • Pryce and Huhne were both found guilty of obstructing the administration of justice and sentenced to prison as a result of the trials, during which the information in question was presented as evidence.
  • Oakeshott remained steadfast in her choice to pass over the material despite the common belief that journalists should always make every effort to protect the confidentiality of their sources.
  • She claimed that she had informed Pryce of the potential legal repercussions of publishing the story, but she emphasised that it was “not my business to provide expert criminal advise.”
  • After she quit her job at the Sunday Times, she went in a new direction and wrote a biography of David Cameron, who was serving as prime minister at the time, in collaboration with the unhappy Tory peer Michael Ashcroft.
  • Call Me Dave, despite its extensive research, was unable to get close to Cameron’s inner circle and is mainly remembered for its allegation that the prime minister engaged in sexual congress with a dead pig at a decadent university party. This allegation is what most people remember Call Me Dave for.
  • The fact that this story wasn’t necessarily factual was one of the problems. Oakeshott later stated at a book festival that she had been told the story by a Conservative MP, saying: “It’s my judgement that the MP was not making it up, although I accept there was a possibility he could have been slightly deranged.”
  • Oakeshott also acknowledged that there was a possibility that the MP could have been slightly off his rocker.
  • She stated that she only relied on a single source, and that the criticism of her assertion was founded on the fallacious premise “that things that are published in books ought to have the same standard as things that are written in newspapers.”
