• Their journey started in FCW, WWE’s then-developmental territory located in Tampa, Florida.
• At an FCW house show on September 15, 2007, The Bella Twins, as they came to be known, made their in-ring debut by defeating Nattie Neidhart and Krissy Vaine.
• Victoria Crawford served as the special guest referee in this historic match. This victory marked the beginning of their scripted rivalry with Neidhart and Crawford, resulting in a series of matches throughout October 2007.
• As part of their on-screen personas, the Bellas were known for switching places behind the referee’s back if one of them was hurt, adding an element of intrigue to their matches.

On the January 4, 2010, episode of Raw, Brie participated in a tournament for the vacant WWE Divas Championship but was defeated by Maryse in the first round due to a switcheroo tactic.

In June 2010, they began a feud with Jillian Hall. Brie and Nikki defeated Hall after switching places with each other in their respective matches.

The feud escalated when the Bellas acted as special guest referees during one of Hall’s matches, with Nikki making a fast count to allow Hall to be pinned by Gail Kim. The Bellas ultimately defeated Hall and Maryse in a tag team match to end the storyline.

Divas Champion (2011–2012)

In April 2011, Brie Bella won her first WWE Divas Championship, with Nikki Bella’s assistance. Nikki helped Brie successfully defend the championship against Kelly Kelly at Over the Limit, thanks to their switcheroo maneuver.

However, Brie lost the championship to Kelly Kelly on a special “Power to the People” episode of Raw, ending her reign at 70 days. She couldn’t regain it in a rematch at Money in the Bank.

The twins continued to wrestle primarily in tag team matches, frequently facing off against Kelly and other opponents.

The Bellas’ unity began to show signs of strain after both twins lost to AJ Lee in singles competition. Nikki revealed that Brie was rooting for Team Johnny, while Nikki was rooting for Team Teddy in a 12-man tag team match at WrestleMania XXVIII. This further deepened their discord.

A Twist of Fate: A Tale of Sibling Rivalry

On the April 6 episode of SmackDown, Nikki defeated then-Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in a non-title match, thanks to an assist from Kelly Kelly.
