Infiesto (Netflix): Who Is The Prophet?
Saioa is located by a local police officer named Agent Ramos, who is revealed to be the Prophet. Agent Ramos and his partner, Agent Altuna, then take Saioa to the hospital.
Before he joined the police force, Ramos was a well-known cult leader who hid out in the deserted mines of Infiesto.
In those days, the mines were abandoned. He also held the position of a teacher at a nearby school, and it was there that he became acquainted with Manuel and the Demon, both of whom would subsequently become his disciples.
The Prophet was known to enjoy a life of hedonism and encouraged others to live similarly. At that time, the children and the inhabitants of the town all loved him very much.
However, as his knowledge of Celtic mythology increased, so did his hedonistic tendencies, which ultimately led to his descent into savagery.
Infiesto (Netflix): Is The Prophet An Actual Serial Killer?
Agent Ramos, also known as the Prophet, is not based on a genuine serial killer, contrary to popular belief. Patxi Amezcua, who directed and wrote the screenplay for the movie, came up with the idea for the character.
After viewing well-known and influential works in the genre, such as “True Detective” and “The Silence of the Lambs,” amongst others, the director had the idea to create a film in the detective genre.
The Prophet in ‘Infiesto’ bears a striking resemblance to Errol Childress, who played the role of the primary antagonist in the first season of ‘True Detective.’
In the same way that Errol is a member of a cult, the Prophet is a member of a group whose ideas and beliefs have turned him into a serial killer.
In the story ‘Infiesto,’ the Prophet kills his victims out of anxiety that the end of the world is drawing closer. He believes that he is the one who was destined to placate Taranis by the offering of human sacrifices.
According to reports, a serial murderer by the name of John Linley Frazier killed his victims because he believed that he was the one who was meant to live.
According to the reports, Frazier, who was responsible for the deaths of five people in Santa Cruz County, California, informed his buddies that he believed God had chosen him to carry out the murders in order to protect the environment.

The emergence of the Prophet as a cult leader and his subsequent transition into a mass murderer are both similar to the rise to power of Charles Manson, one of the most notorious cult leaders in history.
The Prophet’s associates Manuel and the Demon, who look a lot like members of the Manson family, were responsible for the murders.
Susan Atkins, who was a member of Charles Manson’s cult, claimed that the head of the group embodied Jesus Christ. In a same vein, the Demon considers the Prophet to be a “messiah” who is attempting to placate the powerful Gods.
In a similar vein, comparisons can be made between the Prophet and a number of serial killers who committed their atrocities in the name of superstitions and religious dogma.
Even though the entire world is afflicted with a lethal virus that produced a pandemic, Amezcua demonstrates through the Prophet how humans continue to be the most harmful beings on the planet.
Among the Prophet’s victims are young children who have not done anything wrong. In terms of where the idea for the fictional character, the Prophet, came from, the director must have been motivated to create the character by the infamous stories of other serial murderers, both fictional and real-life, in order to come up with the idea.
Infiesto (Netflix): Is The Prophet Still Alive At The End?
It is true that the Prophet or Agent Ramos has passed away. Samuel had already been killed by the time Castro realized that Ramos was the Prophet and made it to his house to arrest him.
During this time, Castro also discovered that Ramos was the Prophet.
Castro goes to the mine that is adjacent to Ramos’ house because she needs to prevent him from murdering the young woman he stole from the hospital grounds.
Ramos’ home is located close to the mine. She must have been thinking back to Lidia’s confession that they had once set up camp in an abandoned mine.
After entering the mine, she continues underground and comes across the young woman who is being confined. When she tries to free herself, the Prophet attacks her from behind and takes her down.
In order to appease Taranis, the Prophet is resolved to offer the young woman as a sacrifice, regardless of the difficulties that may arise along the route. He even fires a shot at Castro, but the bullet only barely misses her hand.
Castro takes advantage of an alert that diverts the prophet’s attention, and he eliminates the threat before the prophet can fire another shot at her.
A few moments before he passes away, he makes the statement, “This is just the beginning.” Because the Prophet had slaughtered a large number of individuals in an effort to placate Taranis, we can assume that he was thinking about his own rebirth.
Because Druids profess faith in reincarnation, the Prophet must have been willing to accept his death in the expectation that he will live again in the future.
Castro takes the life of the Prophet in order to avenge Samuel’s death at the hands of Samuel’s murderer and to protect the young woman from the psychopath who is ready to butcher her.
She has put an end to the killing spree that has been taking place across the country by putting an end to the existence of the serial murderer who was responsible for it.
