Exam Pattern / Age Limit /Qualification:-

• The exam will follow a written pattern.
• The exam will consist different sections of subjects.
• There will be multiple types of question in the exam.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.
• Each section will have different weight age.
• There will be 100 question related to the subject.
• 20 from the Software & hardware related questions and 80 from MS WORD, MS POWER POINT, MS EXCEL AND TYPING IN HINDI AND GUJARATI.

Exam Syllabus for GEMI Senior Scientific Assistant

A method for preservation and analysis of water and wastewater:-

Incubators, pH meter, use, calibration and principle of laminar Air Flow, Washing and sterilization, quality control, quality Assurance and safety measures in Laboratory, Toxicity for Fish, Toxicity Factor, Bioassay test on fish, Ambient Air Quality Mentioning, Soil Parameters ph, Conductivity, Carbonate, Basic concepts of nations environments Policy -2006. , Water Act, 1974, reasoning, and logic Basic Mathematics, Water Quality-Physical, Water Quality Requirements.

Solid and Hazardous Waste management:-

Types and Souris of Solid and Hazardous Wastes need for solid and Hazardous Waste managements, legislation on management and handling of municipal solid wastes, hazardous wastes, and biomedical wastes.

Air Quality and Managements:-

Air Pollutants, Greenhouse effect.

Ground Water Contamination & Pollution Transport:-

Ground Water and Hydrologic cycles.

Ground Water as a resource.

Ground Water Contamination.

Ground Water as a Geotechnical problem.

Environmental Legislation and managements system

Selection process for GEMI Senior Scientific Assistant Exam

There will be two rounds of the selection, one is written exam and second is an interview. Minimum qualify marks are compulsory for attend the interview round. Who will qualify the written exam will be called for interview round for final selection.
