Reigan Heskey Is A Youth Footballer
Reigan Heskey, Emile Heskey’s youngest son, is also an athlete who has chosen to follow in his father’s footsteps.
He is the second child of a footballer and his adored wife, Chantelle, and he is already a Manchester City player.
The emerging star, who was born on January 19, 2008, must have been impacted by his father’s career. As a result, he began playing football at a young age. The mid-teen currently plays center-forward and is supposedly under the age of 15. According to the Daily Mail, he joined Manchester City’s academy when he was eight years old in 2016.
Chantelle, Reigan’s mother, also proudly uploaded the video of him signing the contract on social media. Furthermore, the young youngster was seen delivering high-fives to his teammates during the future season’s enrollment day.
However, unlike his father and mother, the Heskey couple’s younger sibling is less engaged on social media. He has only four posts and 1.9k followers. The 14-year-old player appears to be affiliated with Adidas, as he has uploaded various football shoes from the firm in his narrative highlights.
Reigan Has Two Sisters And A Brother
Reigan has two younger sisters, Milanna and Mendes, as well as an elder brother, Jaden.
The two daughters, unlike the Heskey brother, are young and still in school. According to Chantelle’s social media, the smallest daughter is in her first year, while the oldest is in her third.
They might also want to watch their father and brothers play football. As a result, it will come as no surprise if Milanna and Mendes demonstrate great skills in the field.
Also, because Mendes was born so quickly, the Manchester Evening News covered her delivery. Chantelle reportedly gave birth to their youngest daughter in less than two minutes.
Emile’s wife revealed that she gave birth to Mendes in her mother’s bathroom. Mrs. Heskey said that neither her water had broken nor she was experiencing contractions. The former player partner had left the bed at 00:04 to go the restroom, and the baby was in her arms at 00:06.
Reigan Elder Brother Jaden Plays In Youth League
Jaden, Reigan’s older brother, is also involved with Manchester City and plays in the youth squad. He plays as a center-forward in the U18 Premier League. According to Transfermarkt, he signed a deal with the club on July 1, 2022, that will expire on June 30, 2021.
Emile and his wife’s eldest child entered the academy a few years before his second sibling. Jaden’s social media posts are largely about his business life, and he, like his younger brother, is affiliated with Adidas.
His supporters believe he has the potential to represent the country on an international stage. He’s also on Instagram, but he rarely posts about his personal life. He has almost 4.5k followers and has only made six posts.
People often want to see two siblings playing together, which is conceivable if they join the same squad. Otherwise, we may watch two siblings fighting.
They help each other improve their field talents under the supervision of their father. The two brothers are extremely close despite their young age difference.

2014
On December 24, 2014, Heskey signed a short-term contract with Championship team Bolton Wanderers after a successful trial. He made his debut two days later as a half-time substitute for Robert Hall with Bolton trailing Blackburn 1-0 at home, but after equalising in the 59th minute, Bolton went on to win 2-1. Eiur Gujohnsen, a 36-year-old attacker signed by the club that month, set up his goal. Bolton dismissed Heskey when his contract expired at the end of the 2015-16 season. He afterwards retired from the game.

2013
Heskey represented England in the under-16, under-18, under-21, B, and senior levels. In 1999, he made his England debut in a 1-1 draw against Hungary. He was dropped from the squad following UEFA Euro 2004, where he failed to shine and was heavily criticised.
Heskey was recalled to the England squad for the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifiers in September 2007, after a lengthy absence from international football. He retired from international football after the FIFA World Cup in 2010, having earned 62 caps and scoring 7 goals for his country.
2012
On September 21, 2012, Heskey joined as the marquee player for the Australian A-League team Newcastle Jets. He made his debut in the Jets’ 2-0 home loss to Adelaide United, coming on in the 72nd minute for James Virgili. On October 13, 2012, Heskey scored his first A-League goal in a 3-2 away win over Sydney FC.
Heskey’s goal against Sydney FC was followed by one against F3 Derby rivals the Central Coast Mariners, two goals against Melbourne Victory on 26 October, and one goal against the Western Sydney Wanderers, taking him to joint top scorer in the league.
The match against Melbourne included “Heskey Cam,” which allowed viewers to follow Heskey’s moves with a single camera throughout the game. Heskey received a new contract in April 2013 after finishing 2012-13 with 9 goals in 23 games and was nominated for the Jets’ Player of the Year award. Heskey left the Jets after scoring once in 19 appearances in 2013-14 to explore a move to an English team.
2011
Heskey barged into referee Mike Jones during Aston Villa’s home match against Wigan on May 7, 2011, and continued to fight with him after he did not award a free kick for an alleged elbow by Antoln Alcaraz.
For his actions, Heskey was given a yellow card and had to be restrained by teammates such as Brad Friedel and captain Stiliyan Petrov. He played the rest of the half, but had to be restrained again in the tunnel at halftime.
At halftime, caretaker manager Gary McAllister elected to replace him with Marc Albrighton, and Heskey was not permitted to remain at the stadium for the remainder of the game. Despite his outburst, neither Villa nor the Football Association punished Heskey. Later, teammate Luke Young remarked Heskey was “fortunate he didn’t get sent off.”
Heskey stayed at Villa for one more season, scoring once in an August 2011 triumph over Blackburn Rovers. After being advised that he would not be offered a new contract, he was released in May 2012.
2010
His first outing of the season came in a 1-1 tie at Rapid Vienna in the first leg of the Europa League play-off. Under Gérard Houllier, who had previously managed Heskey at Liverpool, the striker had a strong start to the 2010-11 season, scoring in local derbies against Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.
On 11 May 2010, Heskey was included to England’s preliminary 30-man World Cup squad, then on 1 June, he was named to the final 23-man team. On 4 June, Heskey hurt England captain Rio Ferdinand during a training session, forcing Ferdinand to withdraw from the tournament. He played in England’s first match, a 1-1 tie with the US, and assisted Steven Gerrard’s goal.
Heskey resigned from international football on July 15, 2010, at the age of 32, after making 62 appearances for England and scoring seven goals.
2009
Heskey joined Aston Villa on January 23, 2009, for a cost of £3.5 million on a three-and-a-half-year contract. Four days later, he made his debut against Portsmouth, scoring with a strike from 20 yards, his first goal on a club debut.
He scored one more goal before the season ended, the first in a 1-1 draw with West Ham United. He had 14 appearances and two goals for Villa in 2008-09.

2008
Heskey sustained a suspected broken metatarsal in September 2007, but returned for Wigan in November in a 2-0 loss to Arsenal. In December 2007, he suffered an ankle injury during Wigan’s 5-3 victory over Blackburn.
Heskey’s 90th-minute equaliser against Chelsea on 14 April 2008 ended the Blues’ chances of winning the Premier League. In the following match, he scored Wigan’s equaliser against Tottenham to give them a 1-1 draw, which proved to be his final goal of the 2007-08 season, in which he finished with 4 goals in 30 games.
2007
Heskey’s international appearances were limited under manager Steve McClaren, though he was recalled to the England squad in September 2007 for the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Russia as cover for the injured Rooney, on the recommendation of Michael Owen, who stated that he wanted to play alongside Heskey. He began the match against Israel and played a vital role in England’s assault, becoming the first England player to be capped while playing for Wigan Athletic.
Heskey also started the next match against Russia, beating out Peter Crouch for a starting spot, and provided an assist for Owen’s second goal. Former England international Alan Shearer said of his performance, “Never in a million years did I expect to be discussing whether Emile Heskey should keep his place ahead of Wayne Rooney, but the Wigan striker was superb across both matches.”
2006
After suffering an ankle injury against Blackburn Rovers on 19 April 2006, he played in a 0-0 draw against Everton on 22 April after passing a late fitness test. Birmingham’s 2005-06 season ended in relegation to the Championship, despite Heskey’s four goals in 34 league appearances. Heskey’s performances this season have been erratic, and he has attracted vitriol from Birmingham fans.
Birmingham managing director Karren Brady indicated that the final £1.5 million of the maximum £6.25 million cost for signing Heskey from Liverpool will not be payed due to the club’s relegation.
2004
He suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle United in January 2004, which sidelined him for three weeks. In 2003-04, Heskey faced increasing competition for a starting spot in Liverpool’s starting lineup from Milan Baro.
After an injury sidelined Baro for months, he reclaimed his place in the team and finished the season with 12 goals.
2002
On 11 August 2002, Heskey began for Liverpool in their 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the 2002 FA Community Shield. In December 2002, he was linked with a £12 million move to Tottenham, but Houllier stated he was part of his long-term plans and remained at Liverpool. The next year, Heskey donated a six-figure donation to a consortium led by Gary Lineker in their bid to buy out his previous club, Leicester City, who was in financial trouble.
On March 2, 2003, he started in Liverpool’s 2-0 League Cup Final victory over Manchester United. During the 2002-03 season, he scored 9 goals in 51 appearances for Liverpool and was chastised for his low goal-to-game ratio, despite Houllier declaring that his future at the club was secure.
2001
On February 25, 2001, he started in the League Cup Final, which Liverpool won 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 extra-time draw with Birmingham City. On May 12, 2001, he started ahead of Fowler in the 2001 FA Cup Final, which Liverpool won 2-1 over Arsenal. Four days later, Heskey started in Liverpool’s 5-4 extra-time win over Deportivo Alavés in the 2001 UEFA Cup Final. Heskey scored 22 goals for Liverpool in 2000-01, as the club won the FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Cup treble.
On August 12, 2001, he made his debut for Liverpool in the FA Charity Shield, which they won 2-1 over Manchester United. On August 24, 2001, he scored Liverpool’s second goal in a 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Super Cup.
2000
Heskey joined Liverpool on March 10, 2000, in a long-awaited £11 million deal that set the record transfer fee paid by the Merseyside club at the time. Liverpool manager Gérard Houllier said he was excited to work with him, but that “given his age, he is not the finished product.” The transfer was viewed as costly and dangerous by the press because Heskey was relatively inexperienced and not a frequent goalscorer. However, both England under-21 manager Peter Taylor and England and Liverpool player Michael Owen rated him highly.
Veteran Liverpool striker Ian Rush praised the signing, saying Heskey will “give Liverpool a fresh dimension,” adding muscle to the Liverpool strikeforce and complimenting the quickness of Owen and Robbie Fowler. Heskey made his Premier League debut against Sunderland on March 11, 2000, and scored his first goal in a 3-0 win over Coventry City on April 1, 2000. He had 12 appearances and three goals for Liverpool in 1999-2000.
1998
Heskey received his first senior England call-up on November 18, 1998, for a friendly against the Czech Republic, but did not play. On 28 April 1999, he made his debut in a friendly against Hungary in Budapest, drawing 1-1, and made his first start against Argentina at Wembley Stadium on 23 February 2000.
That performance earned him a spot in England’s squad for UEFA Euro 2000. His two replacement appearances in the competition, however, were in vain as England were eliminated in the group round.
1996
Heskey scored 10 goals in 35 Premier League games in 1996-97, and scored the equaliser in the 1997 League Cup Final against Middlesbrough, which Leicester won in a replay. Heskey was second to David Beckham in the PFA Young Player of the Year voting.
The following season, 1997-98, Heskey drew interest from Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur after scoring 10 Premier League goals, making him Leicester’s leading scorer. However, Heskey only scored six top-flight goals in 1998-99, and he was chastised for not scoring enough and falling to ground too easily. However, he formed an effective strike partnership with Tony Cottee this season, who benefited from Heskey’s unselfish style of play, which manager Martin O’Neill claimed kept the team in the Premier League.
On March 21, 1999, Heskey started for Leicester in the League Cup Final, which they lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur. On February 27, 2000, he won the League Cup for the second time, defeating Tranmere Rovers 2-1.
1995
Heskey began his career with Leicester City after rising through their junior system, making his first-team debut in 1995. After winning the League Cup in 1997 and 2000, he joined Liverpool for £11 million in 2000, which was the club’s record transfer cost at the time.
He won several trophies while at Liverpool, including the FA Cup in 2001. In 2004, he joined Birmingham City, and after their relegation from the Premier League, he joined Wigan Athletic for a club record £5.5 million cost in 2006. He joined Aston Villa in 2009 and was released in 2012 before joining Newcastle Jets in the A-League. He returned to England after two years, concluding his career with Championship team Bolton Wanderers.
1994
Heskey made his international debut with the England national under-16 team on April 26, 1994, as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Portugal in the opening match of the 1994 UEFA European Under-16 Championship.
His first appearance came two days later, when England tied the Republic of Ireland 1-1. England were ousted in the quarter-finals of this event by Ukraine, losing 7-6 on penalties after a 2-2 extra-time draw.
1978
