DSSSB Junior Engineer Exam Pattern Â
- The selection will be made using One Tier and Two Tier Tests and Skill Tests wherever required.
- The examination will be in English and Hindi.
- The language papers will be concerned with the language being tested only.
- The minimum qualifying marks may be increased on the basis of overall high result and the number of vacancies.
- The candidates must carry their Aadhar cards to the examination center without which they cannot appear for the exam.
- ONE TIER EXAM – Total marks for Tier 1 exams are 200 Marks and the total time duration for the exam is 2 Hours.
Part a) – Total marks for part 1 are 100 Marks.

Part b) English Language and Comprehension – 50 Questions
- Deduction of 0.25 Marks will be there for every wrong MCQ answer.
- Skill or Endurance test will be conducted according to the requirement of the job.
- After tier 1, candidates will be shortlisted for tier 2 for final selection.

How to apply?
The candidates have to apply online. The advertisement for the recruitment of the post of Junior Engineer will be given on the DSSSB official website. On the website of the board, the instructions for following the application form will be given too and must be followed step by step.
The application fees is of Rs. 100/-
- Women, SC / ST, Physically handicapped and ex-servicemen are exempted of the application fees.
- Ex-Servicemen who have already availed the benefits of reservation to be re-employed in civil side under Central Government on a regular basis cannot avail this exemption from fees benefit.
- The candidates may only pay the fees through online mode through SBI e-pay. Any other mode of payment will lead to rejection of application. The fees once paid cannot be returned.
