He majored in football at Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of the offensive line for the Cowboys’ football team.
On December 12, 2013, Meacham was brought on board by TCU to serve as the school’s offensive coordinator. In 2014, during his first year at TCU, he was a candidate for the Broyles Award, which was given out annually.
On January 12, 2017, Meacham was hired by David Beaty, the head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks, to serve as the offensive coordinator.
On October 10, 2018, Meacham was terminated from his position.
In 2019, he took a position as the offensive coordinator for the St. Louis BattleHawks, who play in the XFL.

- Meacham started his second tenure with the Horned Frogs as the inside receivers and tight ends coach.
