Early Years and Rise to Prominence
Dmitry Menshikov’s kickboxing career began with a bang in the 2017 Tatneft Cup 80 kg tournament. His first notable victory came against Constantin Rusu, whom he defeated by a second-round TKO in the quarterfinals.3
He then went on to secure another impressive win in the semifinals against Surik Magakyan, this time with a first-round TKO.
However, his journey in the tournament ended with a tough loss to Sher Mamazulunov in the final, after an extra fourth round.
