The basketball player, who was 26 years old at the time, made his proposal to Nyomi on May 13, 2019. The couple’s nearest and dearest friends and family members joined them for the engagement ceremony.

2019 marked the year that Nyomi Ortiz received her degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Home Instead Senior Care employs Nyomi in the role of caregiver.
