2020
Shore was transferred to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Sonny Milano on February 24, 2020.
2019
Shore was dealt to the Anaheim Ducks on January 14, 2019 in exchange for Andrew Cogliano. He was in his third full season with the Stars in 2018-19, contributing 17 points in 42 games. Shore finished the season with the Ducks, scoring 12 points in 34 games.
2016
On October 15, 2016, Shore scored his first NHL goal in a 6-5 loss against the Colorado Avalanche.
2015
The Stars assigned Shore to begin the 2015-16 season in Texas during the preseason. He got off to a fast start in his rookie season, earning AHL player of the month honours in October with 8 goals and 3 assists for 11 points and a plus 7 rating in 9 games.
He finished second in the AHL in goals before being recalled to the NHL by the Dallas Stars on November 1, 2015. On November 12, 2015, he made his NHL debut against the Boston Bruins.
2014
Shore was appointed captain of the Black Bears for the 2014-15 season on March 17, 2014. Shore signed a three-year entry-level deal with the Dallas Stars on March 10, 2015, following the completion of his junior season as Captain of the Black Bears in 2014-15. To finish the season, he was signed to an amateur tryout deal with the Stars’ AHL club in Texas.

Shore played 35 games in his second season, leading Maine in scoring with 14 goals and 29 assists for 43 points. Shore’s outstanding play earned him a spot on the All-Hockey East First Team in 2013-14. He also received the Maine Scholar-Athlete Award and was named Second Team All-American.
2011
Shore was a member of the Archbishop Denis O’Connor (DOC) Chargers, an Ajax, Ontario high school hockey team. Shore committed to play NCAA hockey with the Maine Black Bears of the NCAA Men’s Division I Hockey East conference on May 17, 2011.
