He mentioned how he could do this in a fair and reasonable manner by assigning grades depending on which team contributed the most draught picks to the company. As a result, the rankings show who obtained the most talent in the draught, divided into tiers denoted by a letter grade.

Background
Schaefer was a key player for Seattle, contributing to both special teams and scoring numerous goals for the T-Birds. In the WHL playoffs, he finished in the top ten in scoring. He was drafted in the eighth round of the WHL bantam draught and has progressed well since then.
Analysis
Schaefer’s NHL attraction stems from his stature as a 6-foot-3 winger with legitimate talent, scoring ability, and grit. He can use his stature and hands to create offence around the net, and he also has a good wrist shot from range. He has value away from the puck due to his high work rate, physicality, and ability to PK.
He’s never been a huge scorer, but his puck skill and playmaking continued to impress me as the season progressed and his role expanded. He appears to be a future middle-six power winger with the ability to play higher in a lineup if he can consistently hit.
Thoughts on the selection
Schaefer is a favourite of mine. I realise he’s not the most sexiest player in terms of speed/highlights, but he’s a huge, nasty goal-scoring winger whose skill level won me over over the season.
This player is a good fit for the Oilers at 32.
