Cari Farver’s mother, Nancy Farver, reared Max until he was an adult; they now live close and help each other. Max is currently enrolled at Iowa State University, where he hopes to graduate in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and Data Science.
While finishing his final two semesters of college in Ames, Iowa, he works as an application developer intern at CO-OP Financial Services. Max also has his own website, which he uses to expand his exposure, competency, and prospects.

As a result, almost six months after the previous update, Max decided to message her Facebook account. Cari’s online persona first responded to him, but when Max asked her to authenticate her identity by answering three simple questions about him and his family, she never responded.
What Happened To Cari Farver?
Cari Lea Farver was born on November 30, 1974, in Iowa. She lived in Macedonia, Iowa, with her mother, Nancey Raney, and Cari Farver’s son, Maxwell Farver.
Farver would send weird texts to her mother Nancy Raney and her 15-year-old son Max. She stated in them that she had found work in Kansas and would arrange for Max to be picked up. But she never arrived.
Dave Kroupa met Cari Farver while working at an auto repair shop in Omaha, Nebraska. Kroupa had recently started dating after divorcing Amy Flora, the mother of his two children, and was new to the neighborhood, according to ABC News. Farver dropped off her automobile at the store, and according to all accounts, Kroupa immediately fell in love with her.
Kroupa and Farver began dating soon after meeting. Both parties admitted that they were not searching for a firm commitment. Kroupa had been seeing a number of other women before she began dating Farver.
He’d met one of these ladies, Shanna “Liz” Golyar, on a dating app. Kroupa and Farver first encountered Golyar when she suddenly showed up at his place to pick up some of her stuff after their first date.
Despite the awkward circumstance, Kroupa and Farver’s bond grew deeper to the point that Farver began to stay at Kroupa’s apartment because it was closer to her office. According to ABC News, Kroupa bid Farver goodnight and left his flat on November 13, 2012. After that, he and everyone else would never see her alive again.

Who Was Responsible For Cari Farver Dissapearance?
The investigation of the missing single mother was then reopened in 2015 by two investigators in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. They discovered evidence suggesting Golyar was not a victim of Farver’s pestering, but rather the one who killed her.
The authorities subsequently determined that she had been impersonating Farver for years and was genuinely responsible for the threatening texts sent to Kroupa and others.
As the police investigated the issue further, Golyar began to suspect Amy Flora, Kroupa’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children, for the texts. As a result of Golyar’s attempts to frame her, Flora was eventually arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Police obtained circumstantial evidence that Golyar murdered Farver, including photographs of a deceased foot with the same tattoo as Farver’s. Some Farver-related things were also uncovered in Golyar’s home.
Farver’s body, on the other hand, has never been found. Nonetheless, Golyar was charged and convicted in 2017 for Cari’s death. She is now serving a life term in the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York, Nebraska.
