Brian Laundrie was engaged to Gabby Petito at the time of her disappearance.
He passed away as a result of injuries he received from a gunshot wound after she was identified as a person of interest in the investigation into her disappearance.
With the purchase of their white Ford Transit van in December 2021, Laundrie and Petito embarked on a journey that included the entirety of the United States.
On the other hand, Gabby Petito failed to return home after informing her loved ones and acquaintances that she would be spending the 25th of August in a national park in Wyoming as part of the road trip that she and Laundrie were on together.
After Petito went missing, Laundrie went back to her house and hired an attorney.
She has been on the run since the 13th of September, after the counsel was hired, and she has refused to cooperate with the FBI.

Brian Laundrie: Parents Chris Laundrie And Roberta Laundrie
Christopher “Chris” Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie are Brian Laundrie’s parents. Brian’s middle name is Chris. Roberta Laundrie, Brian’s mother, is five years younger than her son’s father, Chris Laundrie, who is 62 years old.
The home that Brian’s parents own in North Port, Florida is located on Wabasso Avenue, and they have a property there that is around 10,000 square feet in size.
The primary focus of the company run by Brian Laundrie’s parents was the sale and maintenance of juicy commercial equipment.
With their juice delivery business based in Nord Port, Florida, Brian Laundrie’s parents hold the positions of president and vice president respectively.
The majority of the Laundrie family’s wealth comes from their involvement in a juice delivery business, which contributes $5,000,000 to their total net worth.
Because his father, Chris Laundrie, holds the position of president of the firm and his mother, Roberta Laundrie, holds the position of vice president, it is quite simple for Brain’s parents to keep track of their network’s finances.
But, prior to Gabby Petito becoming missing, both of his parents were successfully running their business. Now that he is missing, the parents need to advocate for their son because the police will not be able to question him.

Brian Laundrie Parents Current Location
Chris Laundrie, the father of Brian, made his first public appearance after the Petito family sued him and his wife, alleging that they knew their son killed Gabby but didn’t tell anybody about it.1
The Petito family claimed that Chris and his wife were aware that their son had killed Gabby.
The nation as a whole has become preoccupied with the slaying of Gabby Petito and the lack of information regarding the whereabouts of her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie.
The investigation has been going on for a few months, and new information is being uncovered each and every day.
Chris Laundrie has maintained an extremely low profile ever since the matter was brought to the notice of the general public. Both he and his wife, Roberta, have been keeping a low profile in their residence in North Port, Florida, for the past few months.
On the other hand, on February 15, The Sun published images that demonstrated Chris had been seen outside his residence for the first time since the lawsuit was filed.
These pictures were published in light of the fact that the court case had been initiated.
Chris was spotted at North Port, which is located in Florida.
According to The Sun, he was donning a tan baseball cap, a green T-shirt, and blue shorts when the incident occurred. After picking up his mail in front of his house, performing some chores, and making a stop at Tire Choice & Complete Vehicle Care in North Port, he gave the impression of not paying much attention to what he was doing.
The Petito family alleges in its complaint that Chris and Roberta Laundrie knew their son was responsible for the death of Gabby, but that they did not report it to the authorities.
The images from Brian’s journal, in which he admitted to having killed Gabby, were displayed by the FBI. Now, another attorney for the Laundrie family, Steven Bertolino, is being sued by the family’s other attorney on the grounds that Bertolino suppressed parts of the letter that he was supposed to turn over.

Search For Brian Laundrie, Where Is He Now?
On September 13, Brian left his home in North Port, which is only ten minutes away from the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, but he never came back after his excursion.2
The North Port police department believed they were keeping a tight eye on Brian, but they later stated that they recognized they had made a mistake in identifying him when they were conducting their surveillance on him.
The authorities claim that they confused Brian’s mother for him throughout the week that he was absent, and that is the reason why they believe he was able to vanish without being discovered.
Once Gabby’s family reported that she was missing, investigators in North Port set up surveillance cameras surrounding the home of the Laundries to keep an eye on Brian and his whereabouts, according to a spokeswoman for the North Port Police Department.
On September 13, police observed Brian driving away in his Mustang after leaving his house. They then witnessed the automobile return after two days had passed. The officials observed that the driver was donning a cap at the time.
North Port police believed they were keeping a close eye on Brian Laundrie after it was reported that Gabby Petito was missing. However, they have since realized that they were victim to a case of mistaken identity while they were monitoring him, and they blame his family, at least in part, for the mix-up.
On October 20, after a search that lasted for weeks and was delayed by flooding, police and the Laundries located his possessions in a clearing that had been underwater for almost five weeks. This discovery came after the flooding caused the search to be delayed.
At that time, investigators discovered skeletal remains in the area, which they eventually identified as belonging to Laundrie.
According to the investigators, the papers that were collected revealed that he assumed responsibility for Petito’s murder. The FBI did confirm that he died as a result of a gunshot wound that he inflicted on himself.
Brian Laundrie’s Mother Wrote Him A Letter
During a court hearing, an attorney who represents the parents of Gabby Petito stated that Brian Laundrie’s mother wrote a letter to her son in which she made references to obtaining a shovel and burying a body. The letter was addressed to Brian.3
The Petito family is suing the Laundries for emotional anguish in connection with Gabby’s passing away while on a road trip with her fiance Brian. The incident occurred while Gabby was engaged to Brian.
During a remote hearing in Sarasota County Circuit Court in Florida, the attorney for Petito’s parents, Patrick Reilly, stated that he saw the letter at an FBI regional office and that it expressed a number of things, including “helping him get out of prison, getting a shovel, and some other things.” Reilly said that the letter was seen by him.
According to Reilly, who stated that the letter was discovered from Brian Laundrie’s rucksack when his body was located, the envelope that contained the message stated “burn after reading” on the front of the envelope.
The bones of Gabby were discovered in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, and her death was determined to be the result of homicide by hand strangulation.
The FBI reports that prior to Brian’s suicide, he wrote in a notebook that he was responsible for the death of Gabby. Brian then committed suicide.
However, the defense attorney for Laundrie’s parents confirmed that the letter does exist and that another family attorney has it in their possession. In court, the defense attorney for Laundrie’s parents argued that the letter is not relevant to the lawsuit and that they should not be required to produce it.
Are Brian Laundrie Parents in Jail?
Many people are under the impression that Brian Laundrie’s parents are incarcerated. But, neither Brian’s parents nor Brian himself will be facing any criminal or child custody proceedings.
According to their lawyers, they will not be held accountable for the murder of Ms. Petito and will not have to serve any time in jail.
According to Steven Bertolino, who represents Brian’s parents, his client will not be required to serve any time in jail, as far as he is aware.
Nonetheless, Gabby Petito’s parents were not pleased that Brain’s parents did not take any proactive measures to find their daughter after she went missing; yet, this will not result in a jail sentence for Brain’s parents even after Brain committed suicide as a result of their inaction.
