Bhim Sain Bassi
- Ex-Delhi Police Chief Bhim Sain Bassi took the Oath of Office and Secrecy as Member, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on May 31, 2016.
- Earlier, he held important positions like Commissioner, Delhi Police, Special Commissioner (Traffic), Delhi Police, Special Commissioner (Vigilance), Delhi Police, Inspector General, Chandigarh police and DGP, Goa Police.
- Under the Constitution, a member of the UPSC can have a maximum tenure of six years or till hr attains the age of 65 years and appointed by President.
