His mother, Silvia Riela, had three children before she gave birth to Alexis Mac Allister, making him the middle child. Silvina is an accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur who oversees the operations of the Rielamac family business.
In 2019, Mac Allister made the switch to England after signing a contract with the Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. Alexis gets to spend a lot of time with his mother Silvina, who realises how difficult it may be for him to be so far away from the rest of the family.
The young Argentine midfielder, who is currently 23 years old, comes from a legitimate footballing lineage in Argentina, as his father, Carlos Mac Allister, was a football player for Argentina in the country’s earlier days. His three kids, Francis, Kevin, and Alexis, carried on the family tradition by making their debuts in the professional league with Argentinos Juniors at the same time. All three of them contributed to the team.
Forth the final encounter of the group stage, which was played against Poland, Mac Allister turned in a performance worthy of being named man of the match. The youthful midfielder scored early in the second half to give Argentina the lead they desperately needed after Lionel Messi had missed the penalty kick at the end of the first half. Argentina won the group C championship with a victory over Poland by a score of 2-0.

Following that, he started the next two group games, which were a 1–0 triumph over Egypt on July 25 at the Sapporo Dome (once again), and a 1–1 draw with Spain on July 28 at the Saitman Stadium in Midori-ku, Saitama. Both of the games were played in Saitama. Argentina was eliminated after they finished third in their group and were eliminated due to their goal difference.
Recalled into senior squad and World Cup call-up
In January of 2022, Mac Allister was invited back up to the senior squad of the Argentina national team, which had been over two and a half years since he had earned his first two caps. As a result of a positive test for Covid-19, he was forced to sit out Argentina’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying victory against Chile on the road. In the end, he was called up to play for the national team for the first time in almost three years. On March 25, he began in the team’s home victory over Venezuela, which they won 3-0. Five days later, in the match against Ecuador, he was forced off with after being the victim of a knee-high challenge, and as a result of the injury he sustained, he was sent back to Brighton before their next match. At the 2022 Finalissima, which took place on June 1 at Wembley Stadium, Mac Allister participated in the game but did not receive any playing time as Argentina prevailed over Italy.
On November 11th, Mac Allister was selected to be a part of Argentina’s 26-man team that will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. On November 30, he scored his first goal for Argentina in the final game of the group stage against Poland. The goal was the opening score line in the eventual 2–0 victory, which sent Argentina through to the round of 16 as the group champion.

When it comes to Alexis Mac’s parents, we can say that his father is Carlos Mac Allister, and his mother is Silvina Reila (mother). His father is a politician in Argentina and was a professional football player in the country.
It turns out that he is not his parents’ only kid since he has two elder brothers named Francis and Kevin who both play football at the professional level.
Personal life
La Pampa is where Mac Allister began his life.
Both Francis and Kevin Allister, Mac Allister’s older brothers, are also active in the professional football league. They are the sons of retired footballers Carlos Mac Allister and Patricio Mac Allister, and the nephews of Carlos and Patricio, respectively. Mac Allister hails from Ireland and has Irish ancestry.
He expressed these thoughts in a conversation he had with The Athletic “I can’t forget that everybody called me Colo, which literally translates to “ginger” in Argentina. It’s not something I particularly enjoy, and Messi reportedly told their other players, “He doesn’t like it when you call him Colo, so don’t call him that!””
Facts About Alexis Mac Allister
Alexis Mac Allister went to Club Social Parque when he was five years old.
He went to a well-known football academy in Buenos Aires, where he learned a lot about football.
He went there with his brothers and met players like Carlos Tevez and Esteban Cambiasso, who also played there.
They trained twice a week, and even though many of the other players were there to make money, Alexis thought that was the wrong reason. He was there because he loved football and wanted to learn more about it and improve himself.
Alexis is very close to his family and they are always there for him. Most of his family and friends still live in La Pampa, where he spent most of his life.
When he has a match, he calls them often and lets them send him messages.
His mother brought him to England the first time he went there. In another example of how much he loves his family, he gave his first Premier League goal against Crystal Palace to his mother on Argentina’s Mother’s Day. He also never forgets to celebrate her birthday by telling beautiful stories about how she always has his back, both physically and mentally.
Alexis says that it wasn’t easy for her to move to England. Even though he and his girlfriend love it there, he had to learn to adapt to his new surroundings when he moved to a different country.
Alexis had to learn to speak English and change his body to fit the English model. He also had to learn how to play football the English way, which was very different from how he played back home. Also, it was hard for him to connect with the English fans, but he is learning.
Alexis’s boyfriend is, to say the least, very proud of her. He is a true “family boy,” and he is also the kind of boyfriend who doesn’t mind talking about his girlfriend whenever the chance arises.
On his Instagram, he posts pictures of her and tags her, and she has the handle @camimayan. She was born and raised in Brighton and loves fashion very much.
