To be eligible for the flying branch, the candidate must have an age between 20 to 24 years. Candidates who hold current commercial pilot license by DGCA enjoy the age relaxation up to 26 years. The minimum education qualification for flying branch is 3 years degree course in any subject from a centrally recognized University with minimum 60% marks. The candidate should have taken physics and maths compulsorily in 10 + 2 level or should have a Bachelors of engineering degree from a recognized University.

To eligible for ground duty technical branch, candidate must be aged between 20 to 26 years and should have an education degree in Aeronautical Engineering.To be eligible for ground duty non-technical branch, must be age between 20 to 26 years and have a graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
