ESPN Reports the Incident
According to ESPN, officers from the Tampa Police Department received a call about a child falling into a pool at a Tampa residence on Sunday morning.
The officers arrived at the scene at around 9:30 am ET, and the child was immediately taken to the hospital. Tragically, Arrayah was pronounced dead a short while later.
An Unfortunate Accident
At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The Tampa PD’s statement describes the incident as a “purely accidental and tragic incident.” Nevertheless, investigations are ongoing.
