In high-quality scientific research, India ranks second across the globe

State government decide to re-open admissions for BED programes
In a bid to balance proper proportion of students in the B.Ed program, as two of every three vacancies in hundred of college divisions are lying vacant, the state government has distinct to re-open admission procedure for the B.Ed program on Friday. The B.Ed aspirants can apply for same through online and choose their college preferences. Despite the closure of B.Ed admission in Maharashtra last week, several colleges faced student’s shortage in B.Ed program. A large proportion of seats, to be precise, two of every three seats are lying vacant across the colleges The state and single colleges conducted separate Common Entrance Test (CET) for B.Ed program previous year. There were near about 50 state serve colleges and 550 unaided colleges last year .CET for single colleges are organize by Maharashtra Vinaanudanit Adhyapak.

Pakistani hacker group hacked the websites of Government Law College (GLC) in Mumbai and a private college in Gandhinagar, Gujarat
The hackers put a message on GLC college website, saying “To all Indians out there…surgical strike…lolx…”, apparently mentioning to the Indian Army’s recent surgical strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). An officer of the Cyber Crime Cell of Mumbai Police said, ”We are investigating the IP address from which the website was spoil. The GLC website is hosted through a private server and the hackers may have taken advantage of the security loopholes in it.” A suspected Pakistani hacker group hacked the websites of Government Law College (GLC) in Mumbai and a private college in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The complaint was lodged only after a few students alerted the authorities last evening.

Representatives of different social movements from BRICS countries will attend a two-day people’s forum beginning in Goa tomorrow where they are likely to voice opposition against neo-liberalism.“Hundreds of people, representing various social movements, trade unions, academia and civil society formations from BRICS countries will assemble in Goa on October 13-14 to participate in the People’s meeting on BRICS and share analysis, struggle notes and build solidarity in the resistance against neo-liberalism and corporate globalization,” a press release by the organizers said here. The people’s meeting will be held at Xavier Centre of Historical Research at Alto Perform, Goa, prior to the official BRICS summit in the state on October 15-16 in which chief of the member countries would participate.
