Ben Chilwell: Bio
Ben Chilwell was born in England on December 21, 1996. His full name is Benjamin James Chilwell. He went to school in Bedfordshire at Redborne Upper School and Community College.1
In November 2021, talkSPORT reported that Chilwell said, “My dad has for sure told me about it.” “He always wants to tell me that the All Blacks are the best sports team ever. The way they do things is very right, and the way he tried to raise me was in line with a lot of their morals and ethics.”
Chilwell has said that his father, Wayne, liked rugby union more than football when he first moved to England from New Zealand in 1993. However, when Chilwell started playing football, Wayne became very interested in football.
In 2018, Chilwell said, “When he came to England 25 years ago, he was into rugby, and he admits he didn’t know much about football.” “He didn’t really care about it until I started to play, but now he loves it.”
Chilwell and his dad first played football in their garden at home in Milton Keynes. “It all started in the back garden of my Milton Keynes home, where I had a goal and played with my dad a lot,” he says. “He used to make me try to hit the crossbar with my weaker foot, and that was the beginning.”
Chilwell played as a young player for Woburn Lions and Bletchley Youth. When he was about nine years old, he joined Rushden and Diamonds, which was his first professional team.

Ben Chilwell: Education
Ben Chilwell was born as Benjamin James Chilwell on December 21, 1996, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. He went to Redborne Upper School and Community College.3
Even though Chilwell’s dad was into rugby when he was growing up, he became interested in other sports, like football and cricket. Chilwell has a brother who looks just like him and is a year older.
Ben first learned how to play football with his dad in the back yard of their home in Milton Keynes. They built a goal post and played with it.
After enough practice at home, Ben Chilwell’s father agreed to let him join the Woburn Lions, a team from Milton Keynes.
When little boys at Woburn Academy played football, they felt like they had done something good. So, it was easy for Chilwell to fit in with the rest of his team.
Later, Chilwell moved to Bletchley Youth Football Academy to get more experience and a chance to play for a bigger club.
At the club, he led his team to win all the local games, which brought him to the public’s attention for the first time.
